Huh. Just realized so far we have a Driving Adept and 3 Elven Women, all of which would have relatively light weights for their respective roles in a job.

Aurora and Mouse might get along, both leaning toward the shaman side of magic. But don't worry about toes being stepped on; it's her weaker area. Also doesn't have spells yet. But I can drop banishment for one spell (I only have one rank in it). Might have to lower another skill, too, for one more spell...

The object resistance will be difficult, but an analyze device spell on her comlink could be useful for Mouse.

Just an update yall!I am probably going to start sooner! I was expeting Interest to be a little higher, but it's fine. Right now we have enough for at least one party of four. So if by Monday(11/28/22) Night 12pm CST; IF We don't get another Single app I will take the four that I have. IF we get some more apps then ill keep the same time line. I am hoping we get at least another two so we could have an even Split of 3/3.

She Knows What She's Doing... Name: Bibi Race: Elf Archetype: Gunslinger Adept Appearance: Bibi's Nubian roots run deep. Though she possesses the sylphlike physique and mildly pointed ears of her elven heritage, smooth soil-brown skin and coarse coils pay homage to her ancestry that stands as a cradle of civilization. She tends to stand a foot shorter than most women, with her ears and scalp often covered by a range of different scarves. On her chest is a tattoo of a circle, with one half composed of a line of stars and the other half a crescent moon. Rounding the back of her neck is an abstract wave of a line; deeper inspection would reveal it to be an artistic silhouette of a khopesh. Behind her signature rose-colored glasses lie curious cutting ochre eyes. On the job, Bibi dresses in variations of gray and black, sometimes with her hair braided in neat plaits and bound out of her face. Their is a ritualistic rote to the way she counts her ammo and cleans her guns, to how she sits in vehicles and adjusts her glasses. She never notices her own strange tics, but she doesn't seem to understand that they do, in fact, have an effect on the people she is around. Background: Bibi is hails from a long line of queensguard known as the Eyes of Ra. Dating back as far as Cleopatra, they were female warriors of the spirit realms and stewards of the dead. Over millennia they spread their influence and work across the world, carrying out their duties with secrecy and respect to their calling. Of course, this is the scantest of rumors. Sometime between the ushering in of the Sixth World and the year 2050, things changed for the Eyes of Ra. Bibi comes from the mother sect in Cairo. While they are considered little more than mercenaries who justify their death-dealing through abstract ritualism and symbolic worship, Bibi would be the first to defend the honor of her legacy. She knows the deeds her family has done to protect the world, to save the spirits from corruption and to balance bad kismet with beautified intentions. She knows that the mother sect, unlike others, has always remained honorable and true to what they do. Because she knows it is the other sects are the pariahs. Because she is the pariah. What can be known of Bibi is that she takes great pride in her skills What she loves are the creds on her stick and the feeling of a job well done. Over time their are other things Bibi has shared with her teams: how Bibi is short for Habibti, the pointlessness of etiquette, and her dedication to the time she spends behind the barrel. She may become rather open about how her recent move to Seattle from Cairo has been so strange, how questioning her elven blood and human past is not worth her time, or her visceral descriptions of bullets blowing bodies away is simply a science in itself. Observably, Bibi is rather loyal to her team, and she has a strange code of honor when it comes to the work she does. There is something in her that is self-sacrificing; whether for selfish motives or for a connection to something greater than herself, no one will ever no. And Bibi will never tell.

Welp there we go!Just to give another update I have finished the game threads!! We offical got another application so I have offically posted a cuttoff date for application on 12/02/22! I know its still three days from the offical initial cutt of days of two weeks; But I wanna be fair to every one here and if your ready to get started so am I! The game threads are already made and ready to go!! I haven't offically made any decision yet on who will be accepted or how teams are going to be made. That has changed alot based on interest again my goal is to have two teams of three, but might just do one big team with interst as low as it is for Shadowrun *Sadface* But in anycase that is all for now!

I absolutely adore the flavor and lore of Shadowrun. I really struggled to wrap my head around it when my group played a short game of it back near when I started tabletop gaming in general (3e I think). The Harebrained Schemes games are some of my favorite period, but it looks like they gameified away a lot of the things that annoy me, like dice pools. I keep trying to look at the book, but I just can't get through it. I understand the basics, so if you're willing to babysit me a little I would enjoy taking part. Especially since you plan to do it as iterative missions where people can come and go!

I have a shaman rigger hybrid in mind, but if it's too hard to make it work, I have another rigger idea in mind

In my head Shift is still just responding to the situation with “oh good, everyone will be relatively lightweight”. Because there’s few things in this world Shift takes as serious as his driving, and he does have standards when on the clock.

I am always willing to work with new players! So yes feel free to apply! I never really played 3e so i can't really tell you what the difference is between the two systems and only played 2e via one mission but I kinda tuned it myself to 4e rules. Through painstaking reading and doing my best to make it fair based on the stats of enemies lol.But yes apply and i will glad to work with you on some of the more complicated aspects.

One thing I will say though is to avoid any hacker archatypes as the rules of the matrix are not user friendly sadly lol
