Happy Fourth! I'll be spending it in a parade in 100-degree temps during the hottest part of the day and then passing out long before fireworks, as usual.

Good gaming with you all!

Rather than GM right away, I'm goign to try a run as player. Been DMing for almost2 years straight now. The games I've joined as a player keep stalling or falling apart.

Groovy, talking with Johnny to officially wrap this up. Think we can have ending credits after a conversation or so. :P

Bravo, man. Couldn't have written better myself. A good conclusion to a 6+ month commitment.

Sorry I had to drop off the radar, but it worked out for the best.

And good luck with Player time D. If any of my games have an opening, I'll refer you in.

Thank you very much, I like to think that I'd make a decent author if it wasn't for SCIENCE!

[Not that I mind. Because, SCIENCE!]

Yes that is officially a wrap, was a great run, and we actually got an ending thanks to Gleeful.

I've already started looking for a new game which invarably means I've started writing my next 2 games since I can never find the types of games I want to play. Which is how I end up GMing all the time hahahahaa.

My next game will either be a superheroes game using Hero System 5 ( Champions )
Or will be a spy vs spy game, in either fantasy or modern setting once I figure out just hwo to do the campaign. What I want to do is a multi stage game from the mastermined perspective. Where a limited amount of PC's likely just 2, are the head of an intelligence group, and are thinking up strategy and counter strategy.

The missions are run by seperate characters to the main PC's. The agents in the field, these are disposable but still created by the players. They run their adventures as solo games. I can run this concept as either a co-op or adversarial game. It's liek the kingmaker concept on a slightly smaller scale. Can jyst as easily run that in any setting, using rogue guilds or Modern Super Spy organizations. Haven't decided which way to go yet. I've been trying to get this concept off the ground for a couple of years yet, but my starts have fizzled. This time I'm goign to get more writting done before game start and stick to my guns about only having two players.

I always let in too many players and burn out.

Dude, Mutants and Masterminds is a great system for Superhero games. Give that a looking over.

Hero System 5 is brainy. You need to be a math geek to build characters in it. Still you can build any type of character in it you can think of.

And I forgot about M&M. I have the books and even played a game here that fell apart quickly. M&M is much more user friendly though more limited in how you can build your guys. I mean it's still hela flexible compareed to the rest of D20. I'll think about maybe using M&M for this play by post.
