With a high Charisma and using Legacy Champion (from Weapons of Legacy) to advance it the ranged Avenging Strike ability can make your eldritch blasts very powerful. Also, it grants you the Heroic Spirit feat, which combined with the extra Action Points from Dragonmark Heir gives you lots of action points. If you pick up the Action Surge feat that'll let you fire off an extra eldritch blast each round (and Quicken SLA can bring you up to 3 blasts/round). If it was me I'd enter Dragonmark Heir at 5th level rather than where you've got it (imo Ranger doesn't offer you much that's useful for a Warlock so I'd look to leave it pretty early). Might also be worth looking in the Dragonmarked book at some of the PrCs - e.g. Duraak'ash has some nice Ranger abilities (superb tracker/scout) and has a very strong base (full BAB, good Fort and Ref, 6+Int skill points per level) - which is very useful for gestalt, then pair it up with good will save casting progression classes on the otehr side (i.e. the aforementioned Legacy Champion). A) I'd like to pay for an adamantine great club, but call it petrified stone. I hope that is alright.
B) I paid for a +6 belt of strength and two gloves of storing and a +3 ring of protection. Can I combine these into brass bracers if I cross off the belt and ring and gloves from usable magic item locations? I just want him to be 'cool' instead of looking like he's walking around with textbook magic items... C) I assume I can make up the entities or organizations for factions... Unless there is a list you would like me to draw from, in whole or in part. Quote:

OK,
I was thinking a Thurani Assassin/Spy. Urban Ranger. I was thinking warlock and taking invocations for stealth. Devil Sight.. Flying... Using Dragon Mark to make everything dark (getting 50% cover) and being able to see in the dark. Perhaps a mix of Rogue, Ranger, Warlock.. Get sneak attack damage when in the dark. My above mix was just to see about multi-classing Prc's classes it matter "what side" one took. Are we being strict on XP penalties for Multi-classing?

NO. alignment and preferred classes don't exist... xp penalties do not exist. an assassin is not intrinsically evil.. a good hunter is an assassin. One hot one kill. that is respected.
so mix up and dip as much as you want. it will help your power curve.

okay... what axe is doing is in response to a PM.. which was, "can I use the slots o magic items, but not be covered in magic gear"... to which of course I said yes.
SO I am assuming these gauntles will take the hand, ring, and belt slots of magic gear? no problem ther eand no mark up in cost. although they are only gauntlets, he is effetively burning three item slots to do so. Haverspaces: those are non slot items, no problem. immovability..., I can imagine all sorts of fun to have with this idea... as long as you use the standard action to activate and deactivate them as written, I got no problem with them combined at normal cost either. Giant strength... +3 in each? I am confused... those bonuses don't stack. if you were planning on taking giant strength +6 as an item, then just deem the gauntels together take the belt slot and don't divide the bonus. I can see why you would divide the haversack space (is that what yo did? ) because of location, but the belt doensn't quite apply the same. the rng ac and defense bonuses also make sense... no extra cost as long as they are taking the ring slots. I also tdon't think much of the whole "accessory hero": concept, but gear is needed. Thi is an elegant solution, and makes em pretty damn cool gloves. You can expect me to be using the same concept on gear oin the future myself. just clarify the giat strength bit for me and everything is fine.

This guy can get REAL nasty in time. I dig em. start talking him up some more!

I don't think there will be a problem using other rods with those gauntlets.... the factd that immovable rods are called rods doesn't make them Rods.
If it were'r for the fact that Rock has wings, those rods would be a cool way to "fly around" by swinging on them like some God of War. but alas, they still make a great way to keep you from falling from the sky

Upon reflection, which I have done a lot of on this character, I would be willing to trade the fly ability in on something else, if you have an idea or would entertain one... He gets flight from Angel and Half Dragon, so it is something that should trade in pretty well...

wings don't seem to fit the character, but Regeneration is traditionally more valuable than natural fight. I would trade them for DR or somesuch.
do you just not want wings?

I like the idea of him being a neutered angel in some way, cast out to prove himself...
Also, that wings seem dainty compared to him. He is very earth-bound, constantly fighting against the draw of the earth's inner core... And, flight covers distance so easily. There should be something about him that is lumbering-ish. -- Trade... Additional DR 10/evil AND One more feat to use on Leap - Double Leap Distance...
