I'm not planning on leaving anyone out that wants to play. There may be multiple groups. The deadline for applications is mostly just to give me time to finish getting everything ready to run.

Proficiency at level 3 is +2, so expertise in Stealth would make it +7.

I'm being flexible on the 'if humanoid' clause in the rules and saying that if you have limbs and a torso that are shaped like that of a humanoid, you can gain those proficiencies. I will probably say 'no' to the extra tool proficiencies though.
Thats fine. Different question for future games (heres hoping) can we multiclass? Example: Expert/Spellcaster. Next question feats? Yes or no. Just wondering if it will work and be balanced.
Should we make a character sheet. It can work with the exsiting sheets. So should we?
Hit points should we re roll all of them or just roll (take average) the class hit dice. (For me it would be 12 average + 10 (Base hit points))
Here is the Character Sheet. Ember the Imp (no hit points yet)

The Sidekick rules stat that when you take a class, you are locked into that for the rest of your career. I take that to mean no multi-classing on sidekicks.

Don't worry about character sheets yet.

I think the same variant rule for feats instead of ASI can apply.

As to hit points...
personally I think since we are only playing Sidekicks, it should be Max first HD and avg for the rest.
So my character who has 9d8+9(Con) would be 8 + 5*8 + 9= 57

RAW (which I would do if players where playing regular PCs and one got a sidekick) I believe you take the HP right out of the MM and roll your class HP.
So my character would be 33 + 3d8 + 3 (Con).
If Lady luck rolls avg is 50.5 but could be as low as 39 and as high as 60.

For me it doesn't make much of a difference in the sense that I start with 6d8+6 HP before adding the sidekick class.
But for the Imp, lets say, it makes a huge difference in that if he rolls badly, he'll be severely limited in HP.

Still kind of trying to decide if I want to commit to a game right now, but also trying to figure out how to make him having a cursed shadow might work out in this game.

What is the expected posting rate?

Realistic posting rate once the gave gets rolling is about 1-2 DM updates per week.

Mine will be low. Even if i roll (only a d4 for die roll. The starting hp is not even at Average, it is 10 (3d4+3) the average would be 13. (4+3+3+3=13) then add the Class hp. 3d4+3 that would be 12. So it would actually be 25 hp(13+12=25). Instead of 22 (10+12).
As i noticed a pattern with the average (for all die types) it is half the max number then add 1. E.g D62=3+1=4
D6 Average 4
D8 Average 5
D10 Average 6
D12 Average 7

So by the pattern the D4 will be Average 3.

@Bhelogan you have my charcter name and class in the wrong place in the table. You have my name under the class list, and my class under the name list.
New questions do we start with equipment (if we can use them).
Next question it says in the pdf that the DC of ablitys increase with the increase of the prof bonus. However i do not know what ablity mod my posion goes off. It is DC11
My Cha is 14 (+2) (as i am an Imp i presume it is Cha. However if that is the case the DC would be 12 not 11 (8+prof bonus+mod). It could be Con which is 13 (+1))

Will this be an open game, for others to read? I am not feeling inspired to apply, but would like to lurk.

Yes, it will be open.

HP will be based on value listed in MM. Then, max at first level, your choice of rolling or taking the average for the two after.

Chattydash - Poison save DCs are typically 8 + Con Mod + Proficiency Bonus (like spell saves)

@Bhelogan:
I am going to withdraw my application to this game. It sounds like great fun, and I enjoyed coming up with a character, but real life has gotten tough, and I want to make sure I'm keeping up with the games I've already committed to.

Have fun, everyone!
