It's definitely worth noting. At the time I posted the link, I had no idea the survey would be so comprehensive. I needed over three hours to finish it because I had to look up about 20 percent of the spells, mostly the high level ones, that I wasn't familiar enough with to rate.

WotC is obviously taking a good, long look at the rules for spells and magic as they're moving forward. That seems like good news but they should warn you in advance: this survey wants next-level feedback, which requires a hardcore knowledge of the rules, or at least a willingness to either look things up or admit ignorance by putting a check-mark next to the 'beats me' option.

I have mixed feelings at the prospect of WotC heavily basing the next version of D&D on user feedback like this survey.

As Henry Ford once said, and Steve Jobs later famously quoted, “If I asked the people what they wanted, they would have said ‘faster horses’.”

Maybe the popular appeal will move more product, but I rarely enjoy a view from the top of the bell curve.

If only the people had gotten their wish.

He will, eventually.

Change is inevitable.

The only two things present in the entire universe are hydrogen and stupidity.

And I am not sure about hydrogen.
