*** App fixed, changes bolded. Added the racial traits, and Agi minimum bumped up 1. ***

Well I have adjusted things, and spent even more nuyen.
Sitting on 91593 left, after dermal plating, and another set of fake Id's. I still have to burn up some karma, might buy a control rig and some drones to. I need to spend about 90000Y before I'll be happy. I'm thinking Second vehicle, maybe a heavy truck that doubles as a repair shop.

Why pick a lock, when you can blow the door of its hinges? But sadly my own educational materials are limited to the corebook. Trying to build a personal budget that will provide more discretionary funding.

Because sometimes burning down the house to kill the flea isn't warranted. If it's a damn spider though....

I think the core rulebook still has some rules for upperclass attire, it's just a little less useful in combat situations. Another place money can go is into a store of bribes: credsticks, drugs, etc. As a streetsam a docwagon contract is worth considering. And really, if you're a cybered streetsam and you don't know where to put your money you could always pump more into your body. Always.

Strongly considering some bribe sticks, and maybe a doc wagon retainer.

I spent some Karma and cash, and I think I might flip some for cash and buy a van, on top of the bike. I've got 16 Karma, and bout 20K.
Stupid me, I just found money that was spent, but not accounted for. please hold. Heavy Weapon mount on the bike, 5000Y, Manual Operation 500Y. New total left to burn is 15093

So I have a question that may have already been addressed but just in case it hasn't; seeing as this is set in 2050 will they wireless options be available for everything? Or are we sticking with the hard wired only kinda concepts?

The setting is 2050 with a single exception: all rules, including magic and technology, will be based on the information presented in the 5th edition rules, and not at all based on the first edition rules. When necessary, I will update things from first edition to fit the rules in 5th edition and never the other way around. You only need to learn 5th edition stuff and you have access to anything in the 5th edition or 4.5 books (within availability of course). To reiterate my reasons for this: I don't expect this campaign to extend long enough for the second crash to become relevant so I am taking a shortcut that I think will better benefit all parties involved.

From this point on, please let me know any updates you make to your background, as I am beginning to read through them as I have time and want to make sure I don't miss anything.

Name: Kenneth Noisewater
Street Alias: Doc Brown Metahuman type: Human Place of Birth: Montreal, Canada Age 32 Occupation: Freelance doctor/driver Description: A french canadian metis, Dr. Noisewater is often described as unkempt, disheveled and grizzly. His clothes are always wrinkly despite appearing rather clean. His face is adorned by a thick black beard. matching the eyepatch that covers his right eye. While not a tall man (several inches under 6ft), years of service at DocWagon have come with at least one benefit in the form of fitness. His left eye often displays a red crosshair when utilizing the cybernetic enhancement to his eye. The procedure hadn't been the best but the eye is functional (so far). Background: Born to the only family of his tribe that did not go through the changes that came with the turning of the sixth world, Kenneth has faced some difficult times through out his life. This nigh pariah status forced him to prove his worth within his reserve more than the others. While not gifted with the greatest mind he certainly was lucky to be fairly skilled at hockey, granting him the scholarship to get a scholarship to university. Spending the next 7 years of his life trying to balance hockey and medical school was not the easiest. Yet with a tutor (and future wife) along with some clever rule bending/cheating, he was able to graduate albeit barely. With scores that certainly wouldn't land him a big time hospital job he was rather surprised when DocWagon scooped him up. His first day on the job was quite an eye opener, he had always wondered why the recruiters had kept using the word "assets" during the interview. What was supposed to be a routine grab turned into a hellish firefight, while he managed to scrap by it had cost him dearly. After his medical care and a questionably cheap cyberware upgrade, he was back out on the field. The money was fairly decent and the thrills from adrenaline quickly grew into an addiction. It took him a few years but it dawned on him that he could do the same work on his own and make a fair bit of money. What started as a side job soon opened his world up to the world of running and he has not turned back since. Leaving Quebec he made his way down to the UCAS chasing paychecks. New to Seattle he is hoping to be able to secure a decent gig, make some quick cash and then move on when the heat gets too intense. |
