After much deliberation, I have made my decisions. The following players and associated characters are in:
UnseenShade - Snuggles Darays - Overload Bladerunner - Kamiko Miyamoto KoboldsDIE - Ajax Any who are interested in a benchseat in case someone goes missing, let me know. Anyone who wants to watch is welcome to and can find the game here. I want to thank everyone who expressed interest in or applied for my game. If you didn't make it, I wish you luck getting into the next game you apply for.

Attention
My game has lost a few players and we need replacements. Although the elf shaman/face has expressed interest in sticking around as well. If you are interested in applying please re-read the opening on the first page. Reading through the game thread is allowed but not required. We have just finished the Johnson meet and entered into the actual planning stages. The accepted players will most likely be sent into the game as backup via the same Johnson, and probably fairly quickly. The remaining active players are a sasquatch infiltrator and a night elf technomancer. I would prefer no technomancers or straight infiltrators since those two roles are spoken for, but I would probably be okay with a decker. Otherwise all roles are up for grabs. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know. I'll be closing this thread and making a decision by the first. Possibly sooner if there isn't significant interest

I'm definitely interested. I will need a bit of time to refresh myself on shadowrun though.

That's fine.
The character creation rules are identical to those posted on the front page. Our runners haven't really had the chance to earn karma yet since they've basically just had the meeting currently. Worth noting that our story revolves around certain events in the first edition timeline but our players are using the fifth edition rules including the fifth edition matrix and technology (mostly for convenience since I don't plan on running the group through either matrix crash). You don't really need a working knowledge of First Edition to play so I wouldn't worry much about that aspect other than to acknowledge that the time is late 2050, not somewhere in the 2070s. Any help that is needed adjusting a character from 5e to fit the state of the world I can provide.

I'm very interested. I'll likely make a utility based mercenary character with lots of chemistry talent and fun gadgets. I respect the sniper's agreement, so rather then going for a powerhouse (I think my record at creation was a 26 dice pool with a Super Warhawk) I'll use traps and sneaky planning!
I'm not sure when my application will come up, but shortly.

Definitely interested in a shadowrun game! The character I've been hoping to play somewhere is very similar to your current shaman though, so I'll see what I can do to shake up someone new.

Thank you all for your interest. I'll be checking this daily so feel free to post any questions you msy have.
And thanks Dru. Shadowrun is very much a cooperative team game so I'd prefer not to have anyone stepping on anyone else's toes. With that said me and my technomancer have talked about it and we are both comfortable with the possibility of a decker if anyone leans that way. No pressure though. I like that apps are leaning a little on the sneaky side. I envision this campaign to be somewhat black trenchcoat, and I fear that may have been part of why our original street sam vanished so I want to be up front with expectations. Opportunities for combat exist within my campaign but they will usually not be the best option available.

I finally placed it! You played with me at the start of a Fallout based pvp game a couple years ago! Ah HAH!
I'm whipping up a basic character and concept right now. It will be up within 30-60 minutes.

Jack "Daisy" LaFleur
Concept: Focussed on blending in, observing and planting necessary devices, then initiating swift, crushingly effective actions. Not designed for prolonged engagements.Face/Street Sam or I can go into a magician if you'd rather go with an arcane focus Race: Elf, possibly SURGEd, I have to check the dates and run numbers, it has been awhile Jack "Daisy" LeFleur was just a young elf down on his luck. Parents were gone. He had no money for school, no schooling for work. So he dropped off the grid. He was smart, he was talented, and he was as quick as they come - these skills didn't belong in the wageslave brackets anyway. They did find him a place somewhere else. Somewhere unsavoury. The Chem-trade. This world was messed up so bad it looked like the loser of a bare knuckle troll boxing match, and there ain't a soul who doesn't need a little how-ya-doin' to make it all seem pretty again. Sometimes that was BTL, but those things, they were damned dangerous even if you were a pro, sprites and technofreaks could slip some fancy code that fries your brain, or you just stop getting up in the morning. It ain't good. Nah, see, he went old school. He went back to the days of Al Capone, where those poor bastards who just wanted a quick unwinding sesh with the boys got thrown in the pen cause they cracked a cold one. Jack cooked the good stuff. Bliss, for the corporate trader who just can't ever calm down, and needs a real day off from the boss who just won't back off. Novacoke for damn near every one who wants a night on the town that doesn't stop til the next one starts. He dabbled in the high-test stuff, a little nitro for the Boulders to earn a few favours and pay his distribution costs, but the production requirements cost too damn much to run that by itself. He got his "in" at 17, lost, alone, living off picking cred-sticks and running subscription cons on schmucks without the cash to buy security, but with enough cash to shake off a couple hundred as not worth finding again. He'd robbed a couple at knife point, til he got smacked around, but that was a sucker's game. He'd done a couple good ones, robbing a couple shops, but his partner was too damn jittery to count for much. The dwarf was hooked on Novacokesnowballs, and god damn could he get cranky without it, but he knew all the folks Jack didn't, and that was just the way it was. So they pulled off a few jobs, Jack tried a couple by himself, but it was going nowhere. That's when the Boulders got involved.

Right. I think it flopped if I recall. However I think we've played in other things together too possibly. Did you play a lot of M&M around that time? Nd20?

It did, after we all put so much work into the various agencies. It was a crying shame that it fell apart, I was really looking forward to turning THOR Industries into a powerhouse.
I played all the systems that were NOT D20 that I could get my fingers dipped into. I got really into Warhammer RPGs and shadowrun. I liked them better because of the massive modifiers on a d100 game and the better adherence to the law of averages in dice pool systems. Anyway, check out my app so far. I'm going to build up a small, effective gang that handled drug trafficking and gun running as my contacts. That twitchy dwarf which won't be overly skilful, but loyal, while the others will be more balanced.

Ugh, you've got me looking through old threads. Loyal is good.
Our three existing team members are very well balanced. We had a twitchy fellow in the beginning, but I believe part of the reason he lost interest is because the first fixer and Johnson didn't exactly respond well to his bravado. As long as you can handle NPCs reacting poorly I don't mind if you play a character with social issues. Just and FYI.
