I count that at least 8 people have taken interest upon the game, so maybe we need to make application after all.

As Sith trainees, are the Jedi classes open, or is the only force-sensitive base class available the Force Adept?

You have Dark side classes if you look in the GM part of the Revised Core. Also we can avoid reminding me I am old since I had friends get this book new. So many fond memories.

All I see are prestige classes, a couple of which are in the Darkside sourcebook.

All dark side classes are prestige classes. I would expect the Jedi classes to be used for Sith characters....

Wow, I remember this system. Had a big fight at the end of an adventure and my buddy's jedi chopped the big bad guy in half in one shot. Those lightsaber crits were ridiculous.

Hmmm it's a wound and vitality system isn't it? And are crits dealt straight to wounds?

Yeah, and a lightsaber does like 3d6 damage, so a crit with a lightsaber basically is a guaranteed kill against any person.
Beez: Yeah the jedi classes will be used for simplicity sake, just add dark side feats and skills to your available stuff. Last edited by Zazaq; Jan 11th, 2016 at 11:35 AM. |

Can you tell us anything about the racial bias (if any) that exists in this little academy community?

Well I always assumed there was a fair amount of racism in the galaxy as a whole, but as far as anyone can tell the lord of the academy, and two of the three instructors don't seem to care. Most racism(speciesism?) would probably come from other students.
By the way Beez I suggest not playing a wookie, I don't want to deal with the whole language barrier issue to be honest. Last edited by Zazaq; Jan 11th, 2016 at 06:20 PM. |

Yeah, I was leaning towards Trandoshan anyway. Wookie doesn't really fit the character.

![]() Name - Kazeem Ansari Age - 13 Race - Miraluka Appearance - Kazeem stands about 5'6, weighing in about 160 lbs. He has a toned, muscular appearance under bronzed skin, with a mid-back length black braided ponytail and a long braided goatee. He wears a blood red blindfold, with the tails trailing down his back. Kazeem's bronze skin is covered in intricate tattoo swirls, which he claims he received from a blind Twi'lek Soothesayer when he was a young child. He wears loose black trousers, with a black vest he usually leaves open, exposing the swirling patterns. Kazeem currently fights with a pair of twin shortened Sith swords, both of which have been sloppily made through his studies in Sith Alchemy. He also carries two vibrodaggers, and has been known to fight with either the swords or daggers, or a mix. Background - Kazeem has spent the last three years as a student of the academy, studying Sith alchemy and lightsaber combat. While the academy doesn't formally teach Sith alchemy, Kazeem has taken to spending free time in the library studying anything he can find on the subject. He doesn't have anything close to the proper equipment, he has begged, borrowed and stolen enough makeshift stuff to work some simple recipes. Kazeem was willing given up by his parents for training at the academy, anything to get him away from the slavery that had befallen his family at the spice mines. When Kazeem first arrived, his only goal was to gain power to go back and free his family; but as the Sith Code became his life, his desire to free them waned, as his disdain for their weakness grew. He spends much of his time training in melee combat, and hopes he can master the alchemical studies through his own self study. Kazeem believes that will give him the edge he needs to become the top student at the academy, and maybe he can become the master's apprentice. RP Sample(optional) - Kazeem adds the last ingredient. That should do it, he thinks triumphantly. The vial of reagent that he had been distilling turned the expected green, then quickly changed to red, blue, then black; before shaking violently and exploding, spreading the failed concoction everywhere. "Force be damned!" he thunders, "Why didn't it work?! I followed it exactly," as he stares accusingly at the book penned by an ancient Sith. Throwing the book across the room, it's an old leather bound tome on actual paper, he storms off to the training room. Grabbing two training swords, Kazeem approaches a dueling droid. After setting it to 5, he works up a good sweat, getting his frustrations out. He gets hit a few times, but has the better end of things. Once his frustrations were loosed, he stops and changes the setting to maximum. Over the course of 10 standard minutes, he reduces the dueling droid to a pile of scrap parts. Placing the swords back in their place, he returns to the alchemy lab to try again. Well, on to attempt 12.
