I am very interested. Am I right in believing that even though rinnegan and sharingan are not allowed, the byakugan is? I would really like to make a character possessing it.

@Gulielmos: for metal release, would you prefer liquid metal or find powder or something else entirely?

To answer you Sock I believe it would be something entirely new but very close to liquid metal. The issue is that what I envision the clan and bloodline that has this skill to be something less than normal. Now that I read your question is the metal release itself would be liquid and he is going to be more of a weapons and armor ninja who only resorts to the more primal uses of metal release if need be. Think of a person who is liquid metal but appears human still.

So this is my idea for a character. If you want something modified, or something more in detail, let me know!

Application - Toshiro Kuromoto Name: Toshiro Kuromoto Age: 12 Description: Toshi seems quite average for his age. Dark hair, black eyes, average length, nothing noteworthy. His clothing of choice are white shorts and a black tanktop, along with some trendy sneakers. Ordinary, at a first glance. Though, when he's using chakra intensively (such as genjutsu or ninjutsu), his hair turns white, and his eyes blue. Others find this frightening and tend to turn away from him because of it, though the elderly of his village know it to be his family's kekkei genkai. When traveling, Toshi likes wearing a cape. Personality: Toshi doesn't like attention. People that get too close to him often get frightened by his mood changes or the change in appearance. Even though Toshi is in control of his bloodline powers, haircolor changes and a sudden optimism can be scary. Oh yeah, that's right. While channeling his bloodline, Toshi changes from the calm, calculated and somewhat anti-social guy to an optimistic let's-take-the-world-on-head-first kinda guy. He becomes much more cheery and reckless. Background: Being exceptional masters of both genjutsu and ninjutsu, the Kuromoto clan was often used in wars and spionage for their incredible abilities. The clan, formerly situated in the country of fire, was cut loose by its own country in a war with the Hidden Waterfall Village. Due to people finally recognizing the obvious physical changes a Kuromoto underwent when using its bloodline power, they were of no more use to the fire country. As such, the Kuromoto clan decided to find a new place to call home, and ended up in the land of the wind and Sunagakure. It was here that Toshi was born. A young boy, not really adept in any form of physical combat, and prone to be a letdown to his family. It took him way too long to master basic taijutsu techniques, or even climb onto trees, which is the reason he failed his genin exam the first time. Until his 8th year, his parents dreaded him being so weak and wished for another son. This hurt Toshi a lot, and made him to be the reserved boy he is today. Then he stopped pitying himself. He decided he wanted to be a ninja, just like all his ancestors and to prove his worth to them. He started to train, train and train, and soon discovered that even though he wasn't physically strong like some of his nephews or his dad, the bloodline was stronger in him than anyone else. On his 8th birthday, he approached his father and mother and talked to them. "Mom, Dad, I want to become a ninja" he said. "Honey, we love you, but you know that you're just too weak. You'll make a great scientist some day, though!" His mother replied with a smile "I don't want that. I want to be a ninja, just like dad, just like everyone" "You will not. We've had this discussion tons of times and-" "I will become one, even if you-" "THAT'S A NO, YOUNG MAN" his father exclamated, almost screaming "IF YOU WANT TO-" "Light Release: Field of Light!" Instantly a field of a couple of meters in diameter appeared. Everything in it was ingulfed in white blinding light, creating a dome. His hair changed color to white and his eyes became a deep blue, the clan's transformation. Toshi had invented his own jutsu within his bloodline at the age of 8. He was a prodigy, maybe not on taijutsu, but certainly on genjutsu and ninjutsu. His parents, baffled by his sudden power, changed their minds and applied him for ninja academy. Toshi didn't slack. He was working on his jutsus all the time, and still training his body. He isn't likely to become a master taijutsu user, but that doesn't mean his body shouldn't be in peak condition. During his academy years he worked hard, though this also meant he was distant. He didn't make a lot of friends, nor did he pursue any hobbies. He was lonely but steadfast. Bloodline: Yang Toshi was born into the Kuromoto family. Their bloodline is the Light element, which enables them to not only use genjutsu, but sometimes make it real through ninjutsu. When you can manipulate the light that enters ones eyes, you can change the things that person sees. Powers: Specialisation: Genjutsu: Light Release: True Illusion - By controlling the light that emanates from Toshi onto others, he can change the way they percieve him and his surroundings. He can change his position, dimensions or obscure/light up everything the receiver of this jutsu sees. It isn't controlling someone's mind, it's controlling the light entering someone's eyes, true genjutsu. OR Ninjutsu: Light Release: Shadowdance - Toshi throws out a set of kunai, dispersing them on the ground or objects. These kunai give light whenever toshi wants them to, creating shadows for him and his allies to move through. Although not an offensive ability, it can be very useful in combat or when trying to sneak past people. Utility: Gen-Ninjutsu: Light Release: Field of Light! - With him at the center of it, Toshi can create a sphere of bright light around him. Blinding anyone but him (or people prepared) while they are inside. Currently, the radius of this sphere is 15 meters. Tool: Ninjutsu: Light Release: Ray of light - Very similar to the Hyuga technique, Toshi can release a pulse of light from his weapon when striking someone, making his attack pierce through defenses even when the physical object stops. Reserves: Essential to a character’s survival, if either health or chakra reaches 0 or below , the character falls unconscious and must roll Suppress Chakra (chakra)/Endurance(health) to return to consciousness [DC: 14 + Rank*2]. (If the test is passed, the character chakra/health stabilizes and you regain consciousness. If failed more than 3 times, the character dies) Traits: are special stats to make your character more defined and improve your attributes as you progress on becoming a ninja. Inventory Bag: This is the list of items the character is holding. You will automatically start with an Inventory bag containing sleeping materials (bed roll including pillow). Combat Abilities: are used stats when a combat happens. The higher the stat the more skilled the character is in using the ability. One or more Attributes modifiers are added with the Ability stat when performing a combat action. Movement: Each character has a movement of 4 squares, traits can improve this.

@gunnar11: might suggest changing bloodline to yang bloodline. (cause its more like bright white light, then lightning and fire), you could potentially make your jutsu based on genjutsu/ninjutsu mix, other then that, your app is fine.

Aw man, really wished I had checked the advertisements sooner. Was really looking forward to your one of your previous Naruto themed campaigns and was bummed when you had to drop it. Hey, you don't suppose you could extend the deadline a little?
