"The poet Mukirr thought you were pretty special, given some of the verse he wrote of you. He disappeared not long after your disappearance. It might not have been related to you of course. Some of his other works bordered on heresy. Personally I always thought he went looking for you. We will never know of course. Hid true identity remains webbed in mystery."
He changes the subject. "What will the Patron Father, I mean King, do with Tel'shar? Halva needs all the tricky people Halva can get on your side, and Tel'shar is one of the trickiest I know."

Zilira leans back, staring at the ceiling for a time before answering. "Difficult to say. We don't exactly trust him, and trust is very important at the moment. There's also the fact that he tried to murder a guest of his, which people take quite seriously up here. Honestly, if it were up to me I'd simply cut him lose, but I don't have to worry about those sorts of repercussions. I'm afraid you'll have to await the King's decision on the matter."

"And the opinion on Xufaer? I would rather Halva kept her onside." Nallaul asked of the goddess. He hopes the Halvans make her a good offer.

"Again, that's up to the King. My own opinion is that she is dangerous whether she's outside of our influence or within it. Tel'shar, for all his faults, did what he did in part because he fundamentally believed the world would be a better place for it. Xufaer only cares for Xufaer, as you yourself full-well know." It occurs to Nallaul that her looking through his memories wouldn't have just been about him, but about Xufaer, Tel'shar and the girls too. "Honestly, I'd rather have Tel'shar than Xufaer myself, but as I said, that is for the King to decide."

"That is not entirely true. She cares for her son. As long as she has resources and a place to practice her magic, I doubt she will be a problem. Her truest love has always been magic."
He finally asks. "And what do you think the king will do with the girls and I?"

Zilira shrugs. "I can't see why we would restrict the three of you, although if you choose to remain in Halva we'll likely have to keep an eye on you, especially Felynda, given that she was a servant of Lolth. Otherwise, you'd be free to ply your trades provided that you obey the laws. You won't be able to stay here forever though, so if you truly want to stay then you'll have to think about that. You, at least, have that item of yours to give you a roof over your head. Felynffyn would probably do best as an entertainer and as for Felynda...well, that depends on if she intends to convert. If she does then she'll be able to get help from them, otherwise she'll have to find a way to make a little money."

"I know you are the solve your own problems kind of deity, but if you could speak with the girls it might help them. Having a talk with an example of a Drow woman who's adapted to the surface, could help them."
He paused. Nallaul gives thought to settling in Halvanna. It wouldn't be the worst place to live. Relatively safe, and affluent. Coin to be made and he wouldn't have to give the majority of it to that bitch Myr'delith. "Oh and I would like Morgan and you to come for drinks after this big party."

Zilira chuckles at his 'adapted to the surface' comment. "Yes, well, I can't exactly recommend that they do what I did and get enslaved, but I'll see what I can do. As for the drinks, I'll mention it to Morgan, but chances are he'll agree. Now, when exactly it'll be is another matter, there is a lot going on at the moment after all."

"Any advice for a talented young arachnomancer?" Nallaul says with a smile to the goddess. He's relieved that she's considering talking to the girls. Who knows, perhaps she may even get a priestess out of it. Nallaul doubted it, but you never knew.

Zilira shrugs. "Do what you want to do, not what someone else wants you to do. Especially now that you have a chance to start again."

"Well you know I've always wanted to make my own demiplane. Maybe make it a sanctuary for Drow children, so that they have a choice who they want to be. Probably sounds stupid to you." He paused. "I always felt the underdark was an evil influence on us. Easier to give in to the collective insanity of our people. I am not absolving the Drow of responsibility, but I do think that the environment was a small factor." He paused. "I think you probably have more important things to do than talk to me. Aside from the mind whammy, I have genuinely enjoyed speaking with you. I look forward to our future conversations." He was going to let her go but he can't resist a final question. "Did he ever find you? The poet Mukirr?"
OoC Final post for me.

"Perhaps you should speak to the Children about that. Even without my son they are experts at creating demiplanes using the plane of shadows, as well as altering the plane itself to suit its needs. They've also already got a fair few Drow with them at the moment to start with." On the matter of Mukirr Zilira shakes her head. "No, and if he had I would have had to kill him, so its just as well."
Once they were finished Zilira stands up and goes to leave before pausing in the door and leaving him with one last teasing comment. "Enjoy experimenting with your it's a reference to the fireball spell, presumably a 'dig' at arcane magic (as opposed to Zilira's psionics which doesn't need such components)batsh!t." ~MTWC

"Careful with that joke Zilira, it's an antique." Nallaul shoots back good naturedly.
OoC Done here, unless you have other business? Will post in the main thread once I have decided which spells I want Nallaul to memorise.
