Point buy? Ok... I was really looking to roll some stats, hehehe, that's just old school me...

@Inuvash255, I never asked but do you have a problem if I play a tabaxi character? I'm still deciding if he will be a rogue or a bard but I'm decanting for a bard (college of sword). A jack of all trades is better than rogue I think.

EDIT: I read about the non-monster race requirement, Does that include dragonborn as well? TO be honest, I wanted to play a Tabaxi at least once in my life!;P

If my cleric / wizard gets accepted, she could help out with skill monkery (thru the Knowledge domain feature), though is not the focus of the character.

In Volo's Guide to Monsters, there's a divide between Lizardfolk, Tabaxi, etc.'Standard, if unusual, PC races' and Goblins, Kobolds, Yuan-Ti, etc.'monster races'. The jist is that the "monster races" tend to be for a different kind of campaign than the usual sort- or there's a different setting in place (like Eberron). So, for this campaign, Tabaxi are allowed - though they're mostly from Maztica.

Really?! Then I can play a bard tabaxi then! I'll begin with my Character sheet right now!:P

By the way, Matizca is a far far far away land but you know how obsessive a Tabaxi can be and that obsession led my little friend to visit all the land of Dale and steal their secret.... their secrets about food recipes..., yeah... he likes to learn about food and he loves to cook and eat. He wants to become in the best chef of the world and have his own restaurant!

Actually, we did 4d6kh3 and the results were so bad, the players petitioned Inuvash to let us go with Point Buy.

Yeah my total stat modifiers with 4d6kh3 was a -3, which isn't even good enough to qualify as the village idiot, let alone an adventurer. I think that qualifies for a by the books reroll but I just took the point buy.

I've found rolling for stats to be more fun than point buy or standard. I'm playing a Drow Paladin in another thread with a wisdom of 6 and an int of 8. Which actually played into her character really well.
