I figure I might as well share what brought me here in the first place: becoming a dad.

The faithless milk-drinker is just under a month old now. He's been a handful to say the least. But it was looking for ways to scratch the RPG itch while staying at home to look after him that got me investigating PbP games. So, here I am!

My good right now is watching my daughter learning Ju Jitsu. She's a riot. I'm super proud!

Since moving to Florida, we started fostering dogs for Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida.

So far, we are on our 7th. And she will probably be adopted by the weekend.

I still don't know who InfamousDasher is, but she seems insistent that I do, so I'll humor her.

Having a companion for 2 years now that has accepted me wholeheartedly, despite being a bit different than a lot of the norm, has been one of the best things ever. Having her finally join me here to indulge in her nerd side certainly helps too.

That's what I would type if I knew who the hell she was, at least.

Okay, that's a pretty cool pair of goods. With the veneer of anonymity these forums have, it's always interesting to get a glimpse of what connections exist.

My wife has joined me in some of my nerdiness, but she does NOT understand doing RP/Theatre/Etc. (Because it's not "REAL". she has the same blind spot when it comes to internet only friends) I've barely gone to Ren Faire or Dickens Faire since we got together 26 years ago.

But let's see.... something good I can put... Basketball playoffs are this weekend for my son... his team, and he, have been doing really well. IT's possible they might have to play 3 games in a row to win though!

My son's team won the championship for his basketball league! They had to win 2 games in a row to do it though!

My daughter's team lost their first playoff game, but she was able to take a rebound and shoot it in to score for the first time this season!

An I am all set with training to umpire baseball and softball games for this season with the new League they are playing in!
