Here is an old one from 2011, entitled: "Life is Tickin' Down." I was exploring the concept of mortality and the inherit fear of death that is part of the human condition. I liked the synthesis of organic (skull) and inorganic (clock gears).

Here's a question for you all- How does art fit into your scedule? Do you make time for it, or just let it flow when inspiration strikes?

when I was younger it was I drew for fun . now it's when it just flows based on what I'm doing. like chs. I can't find a ok pic. So I draw it. like with that 41 page book I posted I drew 5 pics on it and when writing the next 3 I had ideas flowing through my head on pics for them. I've even drawn other people's ch for them. like the one with the bird on his arm. that was for a friend I online games with.

well mostly i draw so color pencils mostly. But if you go a few pages back I posted some paintings too.

I've spent enough time here saying that my drawings suck. Let's put that assumption to the test, shall we? I've been drawing as long as I could remember. I am by no means a professional at thirty, but I like doing it for fun. Here's some artwork to start us off here.

Here's something that a certain someone on this thread might appreciate. ;3 Here's my old and new version of a Digimon OC of mine, Mafdemon. It's based off the obscure goddess Mafdet from ancient Egypt; its Ultimate or Mega form would be based off Sekhmet, another Egyptian goddess. I'm proud of myself for pulling off that rounded cartoon animal look that Rookie Digis have. Also...


...my take on a "Leowomon" OC, as Mafdemon's Champion form. Once more comparing her from '15 to '21. I'm still up for recreating ArdentLeowomon, named that way because "Sekhmemon" and other variants are already taken on dA.


I had learned a trick from my one friend on how to convert traditional lineart to digital. Also attempted some shading, something I'd never been good at. I also couldn't get the lighting to work well, so went "screw it, this already took forever". This character may seem familiar to anyone whose seen my avatar.


Lastly, I'm glad I've archived this ancient picture. This is the oldest thing I've drawn, that I still have living proof of. I think I drew this in 4th or 5th grade. Can you tell I love Calvin & Hobbes, and have made up game ideas since my youth too? It's even complete with my oldest OC Belle, named "Bow" back then.
