So this says Cyper system, which it is, but it's a ttrpg that actually acts as an intro to Cypher. So if people don't know how to play Cypher, this will be an incredible way to learn.

And we may end up segueing into other, more adult settings.

Sadly, I have to withdraw from the application process. I have been accepted into several games, which I was truly surprised by being selected for, and this has brought me to my RPing capacity.

Hi Thomas here username tcavlee. I haven't played Cypher yet and I want to. I have both books and I am willing to learn the system you are using. I usually can post on a daily basis and I totally enjoy role playing. I am really working on improving my story telling for PBP. Thank you for the consideration.

This is cypher but toned way down. It's like baby steps. The goal here was to learn the basics for cypher system in a fun, light-hearted game and then progress into something bigger.

Not sure how that's going to pan out. But I think it would be fun.

About The Game This is a TTRPG designed by Monte Cook and Shanna Germaine. It is designed to teach people how to play Monte Cook's gaming system called the Cypher System. Many different settings branch out from the core Cypher system including Numenera and The Strange. This game, No Thank You, Evil! is designed to be accessible for children, but also adults who wish to learn to play the game. So far, I've run a game of NTYE with my family that was very fun. Only my brother and I had been exposed to roleplaying games and even he was not very practiced at it. But my 10 year old nephew was bonkers for the Dragon Snot Falls and Niffle and his kooky friends, Queen Bee, and more. The setting of NTYE is intended to be accessible for everyone! So it is a little silly in some ways, but it's also really easy to dive into the mechanics, which are effectively the absolute bare minimum you need to play the Cypher system. And that is what this game is about. Learning the Cypher system. After we played No Thank You, Evil! for several weeks of table top, we shifted into a real adult game of Cypher and everyone was totally ready for it. All we had to do was port our characters over and ease into the new setting and that was that! Easy peasy!
