There are many courses of action possible in the main thread, and you can have your characters do stuff in your private thread along as well to shape what happens between our meetings, what your character does in the meantime. I update when I'll get something to work on. Here, hoping to hear your characters' replies anytime soon. |

Around, sort of. Almost missed my stop in the train just now due to drifting in and out of sleep.

I'm very happy with how the prologue is going, it's giving me a chance to get a feel for my character as well as all of yours before we jump fully into the action. We're playing off each other well so far.
I've come to a couple of conclusions. He may seem like a pretty nice guy but that is because working together and working well together is the best way to go about this whole thing successfully. He's generally fairly laid back and doesn't see any reason to antagonize people for no reason but he can be very cold blooded when he's in the mood. I originally took the cat familiar on a whim, I never really went in for familiars when playing a wizard/sorceror. But for Morgan I like it. He's turning into something of a feline character, showing emotion in subtle shades rather than sound and fury, until you piss him off that is.

I think the story is progressing increasingly now, which is great. The posts are coming faster, and the thread looks back on track - which is exciting.
I like that the characters are starting to put their differences aside, and seem more like a group working for a common goal; before there was a lot of head-butting, and chests puffing... but now, there's a lot less, and things are moving more smoothly IC. Not to say having personality clashes isn't amusing or fun, but it's nice to see the characters can rise above it for the sake of the King.

Exactly, plus I find it more realistic. Groups don't instantly gel together, people need to butt heads at first, to get a feel for each other

Ok then, since it seems everyone's ready (or rather, no one's said they're not) I'll move things along. Expect Chpater one up within 24 hrs (friday night/saturday morning GMT most likely).

No problem, I'm not a celebrater of it myself, so I only realised it was the other day when trick or treaters came to my door. Needless to say I had no snacks for them, though they were little kids so I apologised.
Still, halloween is a pet peeve of mine and my general rule is "don't answer the door on halloween". ~MTWC

Just a FYI:
I am nearing the end of semester for college, so all of my assignments and some exams are coming up in the next 2-3 weeks. With that in mind, I will be mostly absent through this time, however I will post when I am able. Once that period has passed, I will be back in earnest and back to regular posting (which is a few times through the week, and on the weekends). Thanks!

I don't think it's normal but Nevh's update is a repeat of the last one.
![]() I plan to haver her sit there for a minute or two, thinking on her situation and resume her participation to the gala if nothing happens while she sits. Last edited by Blue; Nov 21st, 2009 at 12:59 PM. |
