Actually I didn't get it. I'm not complaining, a neutral evil half-Drow cleric of Selvetarm would have been a hard sell in any campaign.

Ah well. I saw some warning signs that it wouldn't be the type of game I liked anyway, that's why I backed out. He seemed to be haphazardly sweeping up everyone that applied back when there weren't that many applications, there were some munchkiny builds popping up, and a few of the PC's seemed to be a pile of stats with pretty thin consideration to the actual character's character.

I took the view I had fun writing the guy, so even if I didn't get in, it wasn't a wasted effort. It was fun to write a hero's journey for a guy whom ordinarily would be a villain.
You would have hated one of the apps from the last bit of recruitment Mak did. She was essentially trying to make the world fit her character and not the other way around. Also mix/maxing heavily.

Fair. I'm of the opinion there's no wrong way to enjoy the game/pbp, I'm just going to try to make sure I'm gaming/writing with likeminded people.

Sweet salty christ, I think we need to get Nallaul some training just to get some extra HP going on. How do you only have 48 despite having 1x d10 and a bunch of d6 HD?

Low con modifier and average to poor rolling. I like to think of it as a legacy of the illness his mother nearly abandoned him to die for.

Odd. I swear I've never rolled for HD in this game.

EDIT: yea, it's max at first and average after that. So by that metric with 5 wiz HD, 8 arachnomancer (d6?), and 3 of d10, you should have I think 77hp

Also sorry to see you didn't get in either of the games you'd applied for. Do you play Shadowrun at all? I know Davion is a really good GM and he's starting up a 5th ed game.

I wasn't too bothered about Arachnid, as I felt I didn't quite stick the landing with him. The pokemon one was a little harder but there were similar apps to mine, and I would have probably picked the apps the DM too.
I haven't played Shadowrun but I can't afford the material., and I'm pretty sure there isn't an SRD. Might have a tilt at the final fantasy game though.

Hey no hurry, no worry.
Out of curiosity, would you like to run a "sparring match" between Morgan and Nallaul?
The "arenas" work the same as the Mage Duel rules from Magic of Faerun (pg 14), except that they are tied to a specific prepared location rather than a god/ritual.
