If you're looking for more activity, would you be interested in playing a Serenity/Firefly game? There's a player in a very good game that looks to be ghosting.

I think I might have one or two topics left, as I don't think we actually discussed Nallaul becoming an Arachnomancer. Second would depend on how curious Morgan was about Nallaul's "family members" we haven't discussed yet.
As for serenity, I'm only really familiar with the movie. Firefly wasn't shown on a channel I had back in the day. Are the rules available free online?

That would be great. I/Morgan wasn't aware that Nallaul had anyone he considered family outside of Gul, Tel'Shar, and the house that adopted him. Actually, I suppose he and Morgan haven't much discussed Tel'Shar either. I suppose Morgan could respond by talking about his family.

The movie gives a good enough overview of the setting if the basic premise of "space western" appeals to you.
I can get a copy of the book to you no problem. The system, the Cortex system, is pretty rules light.

Sorry for the delay. Partly your fault as I've been looking over the serenity stuff. Colour me interested. A concern I do have however, that the game seems to encourage cooperative narration at the start. How easy would it to be to incorporate a new player, and would I have to have a similar skill set?

No worries.
The narrative focus is part of what I like about it, and Homestarbaby (The GM) is focused on that as well.
Due to secret test flight of a prototype stealth ship where the corporation we're theoretically working for just tried to blow up the prototype/off us in a bid to get more time to develop the faulty stealth systemwhere we are in the narrative, it would be really difficult to bring in an entirely new character in a way that would be believable. I suspect the most palatable option for Homestar would be for you to take over the dropped player's character (maybe being able to customize it some?). There is only one other NPC aboard the ship at the moment.
I have spoken to Homestarbaby about you, but really if you're interested, you should talk to him, not me.

I think playing Amber until she can be replaced by my own character seems like the way to go, but I'll have a word with the DM, whom I'm familiar with.

I haven't had the time to do your post justice. Work and other stuff has gotten in the way. I know what I want to do though. When I do get a post up, be prepared for the sad story of Nallaul's familiar.
