Plot SummaryAnubis' Needle stands proud in Wati's necropolis, greeting mourners as they come to entomb their loved ones in the famous burial site. Seventeen hundred years ago, while the Anubian priest Nefru Shepes began the process of rebuilding the city, along with sealing away the dead part of the city from the living and consecrating the necropolis, a stone from the heavens streaked thru the sky, plunging into the cool waters of the river Sphinx. Nefru Shepes decreed the celestial event was an omen of favor from the Master of Graves, and he ordered workers to retrieve the stone from the riverbed. Stoneworkers sculpted the meteorite into a capstone for an obelisk to be set in the city' new necropolis as a symbol of Anubis' blessing upon Wati.

The adventure begins in the city of Wati, where the Asp and Crook Rivers converge to create the River Sphinx in southeastern Osirion. The PCs begin in Wati and are acquainted with one another. With the necropolis open by royal decree, the priests of the local temple of Anubis have been tasked with assigning sites for exploration by adventuring companies. Registering is a simple process; there are no background checks or special fees. A priest simply records the name of the company and the names of its members.


Natives worship the Egyptian Pantheon. In place of Common they speak Southron, the trade language of the SOUTH. Their native language is either Egyptian (Aegyptians), Bahrani (Nomads) or Geez (Axum, the Black nation of mainly plains with one high plateau).Osirion

Adventurers from the northlands speak Common and worship either the Celtic, Greek or Norse Pantheon. The party needs someone who can speak both Sothron and a language common to all the non-Osirion PCs otherwise there will language barrier.Non-natives

The Wolf and Bear Clans are a Nordic Culture and follow the Norse Pantheon. They speak Nord.
The various eastern tribes follow the Celtic culture. They speak Kelt.
The western city-states follow the Greek Pantheon. They speak Aramaic.
Osirion follows the Egyptian Pantheon.
Religion

Races: Any non-monstrous, non-flying.
Alignment: Any good or neutral; no evil nor may not worship evil deity.

I'll withdraw my application. In the end Beleth didn't fully came to life, and I wasn't comfortable with the directions it was going. Have fun with the game!

Name: Darra "The Animal" Gorunn

Race: Dwarf

Class: Druid

Personality: Darra enjoys the company of nature and animals over people since that is his true calling. Darra is a dwarf of few words but those chosen few words are usually kind words. He is unusually peace-loving for a dwarf and due to his kind and mellow demeanour he is often mistaken for a short human. But the dwarf blood runs strong within Darra and his dwarvish characteristics manifest overtly when Darra is angered. One may consider him bipolar to an extent because of the stark shift character that happens when Darra gets into a fit of mindless rage. It is due to this lurking rage and past episodes that Darra consciously prefers to maintain peaceful demeanour at all times.

Appearance: Just under 5 feet tall, light brown skin and black unkempt hair, Darra's appearance is not large but has a degree of mystery to it. His overalls made from a combination of fur, feathers and plant fibres clearly show his chosen path as a wandering druid. His eyes have an inquisitive and deep look. When interacting with people, Darra often makes people a little uncomfortable due to his long and unflinching eye-contact, almost as if he is searching his target for something and will not rest till he finds it. But his limited, kind words and generous nature counter this discomfort that any counterparty may witness.

Personality Traits: If someone is in trouble, Iím always ready to lend help.

Ideal: Sincerity. Thereís no good in pretending to be something Iím not.

Bond: I worked the land, I love the land, and I will protect the land.

Flaw: The people who knew me when I was young know my shameful secret, so I can never go home again.
