Here are the rules you will want to familiarize yourself. These guidelines will help you understand my expectations of you and your playing style, and what you can expect of me, your Game Mistress.

The Setting We are playing this game using the Big Eyes, Small Mouth 4th Edition rule books. All of the books that are available for purchase are available to be used. I do own all of these books. However, I do want this game to be accessible to everyone, so you may play the game using the BESM Primer for free! If you have any questions about fleshing out your character by using these lite rules, I will be available to help you. Also note, that if you are an exceptional role player and are exceptionally committed to the game, I may be inclined to purchase the core rule book for you, after all, I am a generous person. This game looks like a typical anime episode. If you're not familiar with this concept, I invite you to check out any Shoujo anime, especially magical girl anime shows, such as Cardcaptor Sakura, Magical DoReMi, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Magic Knight Rayearth, Pretty Cure, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Moon, Shugo Chara!, and many, many others! Because we are residing in a boarding school / orphanage / educational mansion, the game's tone is light-hearted, and will have moments of comedy with perhaps a bit of kindergarten romance, I absolutely to not want to see is anything erotic or overly violent, however, the anime trope of innuendo is allowed. And just a gentle reminder that the game will be run with the concept of role playing more than just combat. That being said, this is a magical girl genre game, so there will be combat. I guess I should mention that just because the genre is magical girl, does not mean that only girls reside here. All genders are welcome (The Kikiyo House is a safe space.)

Your Character Your character will begin play with a generous 225 100 character points. (225 basically made Godlike characters. WAY overpowered!) You do not need to use all of the points at creation, in fact, I encourage you to hold some points and add features to your character that will enhance your gaming pleasure and help you define your character as you learn about them through playing them. I am hopeful that the characters who enroll here have issues, and that you as a player really exploit those flaws, quirks, and flat out weirdness. When building your character, please keep in mind that they are a misfit, not perfect, and will have many opportunities to attempt to correct their offending behavior. Any character that your submit may be from an established anime series, an original character that you create related to an established character, or totally custom created from your imagination. You are allowed to play multiple characters, and you need not make a weekly posting for each and every character. Sometimes a character will be out of scene. Age is not restricted to adolescents, however, I anticipate many (but not all) the characters will be adolescents. You're character may be any age that could be found in a typical educational institution ranging from elementary school through college level. Some example characters might include: * Makie Sasaki, 14 from Negima! Magister Negi Magi. The rhythmic gymnast who has incredible bad luck. * Ranma Saotome, 16 from Ranma 1/2. A teenage martial artist who turns into a girl when splashed with cold water. * Ryoko Habuki, 17 from Tenchi Muyo!. The infamous Space Pirate on the run from the mighty Jurain Empire. * Seiji Sawamura, 17 from Midori Days. A tough fighting high school boy who wakes up one day with a girl's upper torso attached to his wrist. * Skuld, 12 from Ah! My Goddess. The youngest sister in a trio of Norse goddesses who is a tech genius that builds defective inventions.

Rules I ask that you please commit to posting at least once a week. I feel taking five to 20 minutes out of your busy week shouldn't be too much of a constraint upon you. If you know you can not perform a weekly posting ahead of time, please leave a message in the [approprate thread] announcing your absence. There is an example in the first post. This Absentee thread is for the courtesy for not only me, but of every player actively involved in the game. Please use the appropriate Prefix tag when defining your characters and posting other game-related topics. This is simply to keep the game neat and organized. Yes, I do have OCD. LOL. This should be an understood rule, however, I feel that I must point it out to be exhaustive. Please no God-Modding of other player's characters. You may perform actions and dialog for any NPC, so long as they remain in character. Obviously, any NPC's that are non-cannon to any established anime series that I've created, shall remain under my sole control.
