Can't wait to see the entries this round. Bade, as I've said, I vote for you by virtue of your defeating me. Still, good luck both of you.

Welp, I have left Judge Squeak unimpressed. I shall prepare for seppuku. Death before dishonor!

Judge Squeak is not easily impressed.
I think the only judgement where he sounded even close was isfos versus RonarsCorruption, but I would have too, that match had two very good entries.

Nah -- I that was just me gettin my RP on. Both submissions from you guys were really good. By the time it gets to the finals, you really have to nitpick to find fault.
From the time it got to the quarterfinals, I thought all of the applications were really close -- close enough to make me decide against entering the Iron DM contest next year. As a note, on the judges thread, we've tossed around the idea of a wild card so really good submissions could advance despite being beaten by an exceptionally good submission. isfos .v Ronars and Bade .v Phinar were two examples. It remains up to the all-powerful Chairman as to whether or not we go that route next year. Last edited by Squeak; Nov 26th, 2013 at 06:03 PM. |

Man, that was rough to judge. Not as rough as competing, but it felt close a couple of times.

OK, I think we've waited long enough, so excuse me now, whilst I go and tally up the results...

Congratulations Bade!
And congratulations to you to Aeternis for getting to the last match. Being beaten by the guy who won 2nd place is a great honor and easier to handle than loosing to some random person. Keep up the good work.

Why hasn't anyone bothered to officially announce the winner yet?

You mean aside from the top-of-page announcement and badge?

and the end-of-the-competition thread?
The only other place I cold think of announcing it would be the general announcements, but at the time of competition completion, there were some other announcements there that I didn't want to bump, and I thought that with the other 3-4 announcements, it shouldn't be missed
