Earlier, Qalo spoke about a ritual he had cast to secure our camping site. Maybe we could persuade him to use his magic to install a trap or warning system in the tunnel. Contrary to this open space here, a tunnel is much easier to defend so I'm sure you and Qalo won't have problems installing your traps." When they returned to the main group and reported on the tracks they had found and the danger they might be in, Rugadh Faoi explained in a low voice her plan to seize the stalker should he or she intend to strike tonight. She also asked Qalo to provide his magic to prepare the trap.

On Alert Qalo Qalo listened intently as the dark elf relayed her information, then rolled his eyes at her request to reestablish the wizard's security barrier around yet another location. "I did advise the group earlier of our distant admirer, but sure, let's lie in wait for our stalker." The mage offered a smirk as he proceeded once more with his ritual. "I can manifest a barrier around us that warns of any unknown creature crossing through its threshold. So it should allow us to get some rest, unless of course our visitor decides to make another appearance." With that, Qalo spent the next ten minutes outlining their newest camp with arcane energy before sitting back down with his tome and fidgeting with the ring on his finger.

Rugadh Faoi Rugadh Faoi "Thank you Qalo," Rugadh Faoi said to the human mage after they had relocated their camp and the mage had made sure that no one was able to approach the camp without raising an alarm. "I empathize with you," she added, alluding to Qalo's remark that he had already mentioned the distant stalker when no one else had cared about. "Where I come from, chaos seems to flow in everyone's veins. A group of dark elves not being united by a strong leader are at least a magnitude more chaotic and disorganized than we are." The dark elven bard ogled Nienna and Elsha, who had been having a long a private conversation. What was their discussion about? Was Nienna dallying over a human?

Nienna Siannodel After the chat with Elsha she noted that the others had returned. She sighed softly glad that they had all made it back safely and moved back to the others with Elsha in tow. "So were you able to deal with our stalker?" She then blew softly moving her face so she blew in a clockwise rotation into her hands. Aether coalesced forming into ten cherries in her cupped hands.

Elsha Elsha looked around the group and could see that they were somewhat paralyzed on what to do about whatever was following them. She guessed by the expression on their faces and the lack of an answer to Nienna's question that the search for the creature had come up empty. "Well, I see only a couple of things we can do at this point. Either we try to make friendly contact with it, which seems unlikely now that I say it out loud, or we hunker down tonight and set like... 4 of us on watch. We have enough people. And then if we're all alive tomorrow, then we move on. Then if we run into some place were we can set a trap or ambush, then we'll do that and wait for it. Otherwise, I think we'll just be driving ourselves nuts trying to catch this thing. We need our rest. Then we need to find water. That's still true if we're being followed or not." "I'm not that tired, so I'll take first watch with a few others." she added before settling down someplace where she had a good line of sight over the camp.
