The time to restock our pool of ingredients is here once again:

If you would like to contribute to the list of ingredients (with locations, creatures, objects, or other more abstract elements), you can post them here.

However, these rules should be followed:

• Anyone is eligible to submit ingredients, past or future competitors, judges, staff members and people who have never had anything to do with Iron DM alike.
• Ingredients submitted should be secreted to me.
• The [list] tag should be used to make it easier for me to see your ingredients.
• It is appreciated if your ingredients are sorted according to the following categories: 'Monsters', 'Persons', 'Places', 'Things', 'Concepts', 'Other/Unknown'. You can use whatever formatting you want to separate them, e.g. various spoilerbuttons, multiple lists, bold headers, or even multiple posts, etc., but at minimum please have them sorted in groups (i.e. please don't submit a list that goes person, person, thing, monster, person, monster, thing, place, monster, person).
• There is no guarantee any of these ingredients will ever be used, but they might well be. Perhaps next year, or further down the line.
• Do not discuss ingredients you have submitted with other people. To allow for maximum usage, you should be the only one to be aware of these ingredients. This includes no mentions of "I'm considering submitting x" anywhere. If you are seen mentioning one of the ingredients you have submitted anywhere e.g. if you were to submit 'A black scimitar' as an ingredient, that would not be a problem just because your character in a game here on RPGX uses a black Scimitar. However, mentioning anywhere that that black Scimitar would make a good Iron DM ingredient would.in the context of it being a potential ingredient, the chairman reserves the right to discard your entire list of submissions as it is unclear whether any of them are usable.
• There is no limit in terms of the number of ingredients you can submit.

Feel free to add another post if you come up with more good ideas!

Interesting ideas are more useful than zany or completely silly ideas; similarly, ideas that can span many settings/systems and have multiple meanings offer more use than something that is very specific or can only be taken one way.
