On my own, I'm a mediocre DM. It is thanks to the judges for clearly lining out their evaluation approach and taking time to review and leave actionable comments in earlier rounds that I was able to gather up points.

Also, thanks to these RPG members who have taken time to give invaluable feedback on games I've created at RPG Crossing: Aethera, Another Dragoon, Auron3991, Delpinator, Donsr, Exfilia, Fillyjonk, JustAnotherGuy, LadyNotaGirl, Leviticus, LostCheerio, McDeath, Oakie, PlaidPeregrine, Retry, Roekahs, Savoylen, Stepanxol, Telcontar, Yoshimi, Zevonian, Zevulon, and Ziether.


Thanks to O2CXt3 for sharing the golden advice this year of "Start with the ingredient that fits the least, and work an adventure around that." (I might be slightly misquoting, but the idea of it is a super pro-tip.)

I hope many of the contestants will be back next year! For me, that's probably it (we'll see where life is at next fall) at least for the time being. I'm glad this last year ran smoothly, so a final thank you to all competitors and to my judges savoylen, Admin RonarsCorruption, PIG, Bhelogan and Henry Lockwood who made that possible. Special thanks to Unko Talok who pulled double duty in judging and taking over a lot of the organization from me! I retire knowing this competition will be in good hands going forward. It's been quite the ride on my end, four years of competing and four years of organizing, so this competition has been part of my life for eight years at this point. We'll see if I can even stay away
