It’s fine that I got bumped. I understand the reasoning, and the only reason I didn’t get back to y’all sooner, as I was rereading the book, as I wanted to do a really good job for you chaps. Hopefully I did that, and I’m selected for July,

When I saw that Bunny was the designated rpgX book club book for May, I added the audio version to my library app holds list, and checked it out a week ago when it became available. I'm now at 32%. Mona Awad's descriptive prose is stunningly gorgeous. But pathetic lonely girl cruelly tortured by privileged white girl cult is not a plot that appeals to me. Plus I loathe every character, including the main character Samantha. I'm not sorry I listened to it thus far, but I'm returning the book early.

Oooo, I wish I could remember where 32% puts you. Did you get to the part where she starts using plural pronouns?

Just an aside on the audiobook -- this narrator is amazing, right? The subtle differences in the bunnies' voices where you could tell who was speaking just from listening, even though they all sounded ALMOST the same -- that kind of blew me away.

The narrator is just perfect --- Sprite I am just past that.

I kinda stalled as I have been playing Pikmin on my walks instead of audiobooking and I am workign a LOT so not driving at all...ALSO

 

I do not love the plural pronoun section. I think I am going to library the book and finish it in a couple hours instead of 6 more or whatever it is
