Casual Story-Driven PKMN game
Windspeaker, hello! o7 Posting Times/Ability Per Day Im residing in GMT+1, but Im available most of the day and of course more on weekends. Brief Overview/Why They Should Pick You I'm just looking for a creative activity centered around a topic I like and I think would make for a good experience. Link to Character, If Any Nothing yet, but most likely would be young, male and focused on being a breeder in the future. Writing Sample Edit: // Short sample, just to describe the style. I don't mind longer posts, as long as its more than just word count so if DM is happy with a long ones, I'm more than happy to write longer as well " He was sitting at a hill, overseeing his house and yard which served as a playground for pokemons he was breeding. Another group of young kids came along with Prof. Sophia to pick out their first pokemons and begin their own journey, that he started so many years ago. Hard to believe some times how fast time can fly. A low sneeze came from behind him, as Scout - his Lycanroc - came out from the bushes, shaking off some leaves and twigs. He looked over his shoulder with a smile as Lycanroc came closer and lied down, stretching beforehand. - We are both getting old, aren't we, Scout? He scratched his head behind the ear, as pokemon growled quietly, seeming insulted by the remark. He chuckled, patting the head of the pokemon, looking towards the horizon and setting sun. - Well, nothing we can do about that. We had our fun and our time in the sun, now its all up to those kids. It's strange seeing those pokemon leave to experience that kind of journey when we were looking after them since they were just eggs... Scout opened his eyes, looking down at the house as well. After few seconds he nudged the hand of his trainer, looking at him with curious expresion, but his trainer just laughed happily. - No, we are not doing it again. Like I said, we had our time. Besides...I'm happy here, helping those pokemon find a place for themselves. Be it here, or with a trainer. It's quite...peaceful. Man groaned, as he stood up, massaging his back. Being old comes with some pains, even though he was in a good shape, no one can beat Father Time. - Let's go, Scout. Time for the evening chores. Lycanroc didn't seem happy, but he stood up and stretched again, following his trainer down the hill, towards the house that became theirs a while ago and was turning into respectable breeding center. Scout maybe didn't show him, but he worked as hard - if not harder - to keep the place (and its pokemons) in check. It was truly a team effort. One that his trainer probably never thought possible. " Game Preferences, If Any I'm looking for solo game that we could turn into long term story with interesting lore, puzzle, side quests and stuff. Regions are optional, can be a random, custom-made one or can be canonical one, Im fine with both (If canonical, Galar would be preferred). As far as mechanics go, Im flexible as well - we can put some dice rolls, but more creative, description based one would be better to make it easier and less time-consuming (just eyeball how much dmg attacks would do etc). Some darker themes would be nice, although nothing super gore/super violent. Last edited by Windspeaker; Dec 6th, 2024 at 07:48 AM. |

It's not really a system - its actually opposite of it, there is none. But I think FATE is rather "light" system, in a sense that it is not hard to understand, right? I would be ok with it, I think. Just need to read up on it

*Bump*
Sadly, previous attempt didn't work, so I'm still looking for someone who would be willing to run a solo PKMN game. Doesn't need to be in any specific system, can be also just a story telling telling game with "eye-ball" test in terms of fights, battles and mechanical parts. Im mostly looking for a good story and good fun, rather than crisp mechanics. |

I know what you mean since I've been looking for a Pokemon game to play like, literally forever. In fact it was what first brought me to this site. When I first got on here for real there was one being advertised but the sign up period ended before I figured out how to use the site and submit applications. I still followed it and it turned out pretty well as I recall.
If you ever see one please let me know.
