Take the Oath of Sangus

I, <state your name>, hereby pledge allegiance to the Order of Sangus, and henceforth from this day <state date> do solemnly swear to uphold it's oath.

tomthumb, small but mighty, goes down on one knee as he lowers his head. He raises his closed fists to the sky. Softly, as if coming from a great distance, a chorus of angelic voices start to sing. tomthumb slowly points his two thumbs up towards the sky, the angelic voices growing louder with this movement, as if drawn to the bi-jointed digits. Suddenly, the heavens themselves erupt in a glorious symphony of music and voices, as two beams of perfect light spear down towards his erect thumbs. Glowing with a preternatural shimmering light, tomthumb boldly claims:

"With these appendages of doom, I solemnly swear the Oath of Sangus!"

As quickly as they arrived, the angelic choir and their supporting band depart. tomthumb stands up from where he was kneeling, looks into the camera, and says "Right, should we head out for that pint, now?"

Here we are, taking Oaths. Next thing we know, there will be dark religions and the prophecies set forth in the eldritch Chick Tracts shall come to pass. Oh well. I was never one to disappoint prophecy!
