I'll edit this post with character creation guidelines/suggestions.

• Characters will be Gestalt
• Level 8
• Stats can be rolled via Focus: 18, Foible: 8, then 1d8+9, reroll all if />20 point buy, stats interchangeable, or stat buy at 25. Initial decision is final.
• 2 Traits or 3 Traits with a Drawback
• HP to be max at first level, then avg (if 10 max, then 5 on evens, 6 on odds)

The adventure opens with the PCs attending an outdoor wedding for Elyin Ursage and his new bride, Kailah Winmede.

The frontier town of Bellis stands within the quiet shade of the Verduran Forest, nestled along the western banks of the slow-moving Sellen River. Flower gardens color every homestead, painting a vibrant scene under the summer sun. Common folk go about their business, tilling the land, tying off keelboats, and hobnobbing over cups of mead. In the distance, a dog barks, children laugh, and the bees hum while gathering pollen.

The PCs may arrive as guests of Elyin and Kailah’s marriage celebration, couriers delivering gifts from distant relatives, or wedding crashers simply taking advantage of their hospitality. They also may have crossed paths with Elyin and befriended him before his retirement to Bellis. For a more personal connection, the half-elf ranger could even share blood with a PC through his human or elven heritage. If the PCs already know Elyin, they receive a simple but pretty invitation to his wedding; otherwise, they come across an open invitation posted somewhere in town.

Can we roll and choose where to put those rolls? Can we opt out for stat buy if we dislike our rolls?

Gunslinger//Fighter
Fighter//Sorcerer

Hmmm, I'm fairly flexible. Some might depend on the rolls, d8+9 is tempting with it's 10 min, unless I go point buy.

Here are some ideas:
Inquisitor//Monk (perhaps of the Zen variety)
Dread//Monk (using Broken Dreams style)
Barbarian//Oracle/Rage Prophet
Cleric//Paladin
(Fighter or Zen Monk)//Wizard/Arcane Archer
Fighter//Inquisitor
