Oh good, the goblins rolled even worst than we did. FYI I've seen combat run 2 ways on here.
1) DM shows the creatures HP/AC so that the players can determine on the spot if they hit/kill. This is faster combat for pbp but reveals stuff 2) The traditional way, we attack roll damage w/e then you tell us what actually happens. Also, it's quite fitting that agnes and Belkas go at the same time since they where sitting together. awesome. One last suggestion is a group initiative. that way players can post in order of who gets to the site first, so for example we arn't waiting 2 days for blossom to post then another 2 for rain ect. completely up to you, but those type of things can slow down a pbp game.

I'll open this up for discussion, because on previous pbp's I've run and played in for different games, we've revealed HP/AC to people as well. Are folks comfortable with this to help manage the flow themselves? I'm fairly confident with how people have played thus far that pulling you out of immersion would not be an issue, and it may help keep the pacing.
How do people feel about this? I'd probably like to keep the initiative order, just so we have some order of who does what and what affects keep place, for tracking purposes, but I'm open to how the group feels. Let me know!

I'm honestly fine with what ever, and the group seems to be pretty avid posters. I just wanted to put it out there, food for thought.

I'm happy to have HP/AC revealed, whatever works for everybody.

Holy crap, that map us wizard! Is that from the module? That's really high class.
Also, good job on the Agnes token~ one of her eyes is even hidden! Do you have the full image? As for a and stuff, either is fine with me, but I actually really enjoy the DM reaction posts. I tend to string my combat posts together, starting each one where the last one left off. Having the dm response enriches that narrative, which I think is slower but worth it. Without the responses, it starts to feel like an old rpg video game where we're just taking turns kicking each there in the shins. Besides. Montage is a good writer, and should be forced to entertain us. :P @Spizzow It is rather fitting! I just hope there is some action left for us to have! Though honestly, I don't know anything about monsters in 5th... in Pathfinder, this encounter would be over quickly

The encounters are meant to be more.... arduous... This encounter is supposed to be hard according to the math. Assuming I'm doing it right. lol.

I've actually never played in a game where we kept initiative order in posting. Usually what happens in my experience is everyone posts when they're able. Sometimes people with lower initiatives will include alternative actions in case previous players nullify them with their own actions. Little bit more work for the DM but easier on the players as a whole - nobody is stuck for long periods of time without posting waiting on somebody else.
I'm fine either way in regards to attack/HP being available to us as players. |

I see those hp totals, and I'm like "Look at those baby hps! " Then, I look at my own score... haha.

Just add a couple of wyrms and it'll be a bit more fair. Maybe a few more on our side...
Joking aside, I'm fine with whatever. I'd personally prefer it if AC/HP wasn't known by us and the DM wrote responses, but as that's really strenuous, especially in pbp, it's perfectly fine not to do it that way. |

I'll vary it up. How about we do that compromise. For something like a Boss, I may just show you AP, but not HP. For little guys like this, can just do AC/HP so we can move forward.
And agreed, 3 enemies definitely isn't enough....hehehe....

I'm good with just ac too. so that we can adjust post according to a hit/miss.
