Well, if there is no light it's even worse than that...

If the target hasn't given it's position away yet, you must guess the square and have disadvatage if you guessed right. Guess wrong and it's auto-miss.

If the target has given it's position away (by attacking or your Perception(Hearing) is greater than their stealth, it's only disadvantage.

I chose perception for one of my expertise skills and I have an 18 wisdom, so I'm doing what I can.

But, yeah, light spells for the win I think. We shall rely on our casters and hope to find items that grant darkvision.

I can cast the dancing lights cantrip as soon as I become aware of enemies. Unfortunately, they only provide dim light.

We do what we can at this point. It'll never be boring, at least. It looks like most of us have darkvision. Just MrCeeJ and me who were silly enough to choose humans.

Speaking of "It'll never be boring, at least.": As we are apparently bereft of our belongings including our weapons, I wanted to add "unarmed strike" to the list of weapons on my character sheet, only to find out that I would do exactly 0 damage with each successful hit. In other words, I cannot even harm a Should say spider, I'm a drow.fly.

(In absolute terms, my strength is so low that my blows would actually heal my opponents... )

And, by the way, my character sheet is ready to review.
