It would be annoying but you can still cast spells.

Post coming today or tonight. Was supposed to be last night but I got caught up in playing Subnautica for way too long. Again.

Judging from the times when you are online, it seems that I am the only one who is European based, am I not? (My timezone is CET.)

@LinguaManiac: As you wrote that Zar would pay attention to Rugadh Faoi's reaction, Zar can possibly tell that Rugadh Faoi is hiding her true feelings behind a mask of irony and wry humor. Furthermore, she has never spoken to a human (let alone a half-orc) at eye level. Regardless of the way she has phrased and voiced her question about Zar believing in a chance to escape imprisonment, she is very interested in what he thinks about getting out of this hell.

I was mostly hoping to know how the NPCs in the other cage reacted. But I'll take her reaction too. Which reminds me of a pedants correction, Zar isn't really "muscle bound." He's 5'8" and 130lbs, which, having said it that way, suggests that you're right about me, at least, not being European. My description was poor about that, I'm sorry.

That's why I didn't roll a Deception check .
However, I wanted to give you some information, which could be of use in your next posts. I leave it up to you to judge how much Zar can look behind my character's façade. Quote:
P.S.: As English is not my native language, I am glad about any corrections.

In retrospect, that post makes Tarrel seem really unapproachable. Anybody wanna drag him into the conversation proper?

@Prometheus: I’ll get a post up a little later in response to your angsty pally’s reaction lol. Unless someone beats me to it.

Corrected my post. And I looked up how many kilograms precisely a stone is.

@Jeff: kind of a 2 part question -
1) Qalo’s father’s Ring is his arcane focus, though this would not be obvious to most people. Would the captors have removed everything from him, including the ring? 2) If so, can he still cast cantrips or is the arcane focus required for all magic casting?

Is the arcane focus not just a substitute for the spell component pouch? In other words, spells without a material component don't need an arcane focus, do they? Which makes an imprisoned wizard still a deadly enemy if they have no other way to negate his or her magic.

Ah, fair enough. Now I need to find out which items do not require them.
Edit: So without the ring, I can still cast Magic Missile, Fire Bolt, and Mage Hand. That should still be useful enough.
