I may take you up on that offer! Also, characters that survive 'The Funnel' will have their ability scores adjusted afterwards when they move to level 1. I purchased 'The Funnel' Game supplement and it's not bad - should your character survive of course.

I didn't "reopen" applications. I've used this app for 3 games before this one, all under the Greenest/Dragons Campaign. As this one will be launching from there as well, I just used the same. The original advert took two groups in normal 5E fashion to the campaign. Half of those dropped out, so I combined two games into one, then more dropped out and when I did the advert the last time I had so many applicants that I felt bad to turn anyone away, so I added a new group to tackle the Campaign with the applicants that weren't chosen.
Sounds crazy, but with the rate of attrition in games here it's really not out of the ordinary.

Character 1 Name: Spencer Gender: Male Race: Human Occupation: Jeweler Ability Scores:STR:13 | DEX:15 | CON:17 | INT:14 | WIS:15 | CHA:13 Physical Quirk:Thick eyebrows Personality Quirk: Kind BondDEX :   Eve: Spencer has had reason to seek out the counsel of the fortune teller. His business has devolved to the point where he can barely afford to acquire new gems due to his overly generous donations to any needy or clever individuals that come through Greenest and though he is far from dead, he has far too many gray hairs to have never found a true love. For her part, Eve has helped Spencer understand that doing what makes him happy is more important than the health of his business or his success and attracting the fairer gender. Samuel: The half-orc makes Spencer very uncomfortable. He has been warned many times about Samuel's devious nature and the fact that while the boy was orphaned, that was a long time ago and that he receives more than adequate care from the priests at the temple. It is hard for Spencer to say no to anyone, so he usually just tries to avoid making eye contact with the half-orc, even going so far as to cross the street or even go the long way around the temple so as not to risk a chance run in. It all makes the jeweler flustered and red in the face just to think about it. Arnalt: The two men have had few opportunities to interact as swineherd and jewels do not often intersect but Spencer has had occasion to allow Arnalt the opportunity to regale him about the intricacies of proper butchering and how salt prices can rise and fall with what the rotund man refers to as 'market forces'. A a fellow businessman, one would think Spencer would know about such things but then again, he is not a very good business man. Merte: Spencer used to be able to afford spice for his food a number of years ago but as his business has faltered, so has his income and such frivolities are above his means now a days. He does, however, look longingly at the stall at market...hopefully young Merte does not think him some sort of creep! Ceri: An odder friendship has never been than the one between Ceri and Cat, one a princess and one a...well, a rat catcher. Ceri's family purchased a number of the more valuable stones that Spencer had acquired shortly before he retired from adventuring and changed professions to jeweler. Since he has not had a stone worth much in recent years, his interactions with the young princess have diminished but he does always marvel at how well she wears some of his craftsmanship from his younger years. Cat: While a rat catcher is not a glamorous profession, it is a necessary one. Most people look down on an individual who holds the title but Spencer would never dream of demeaning someone in such a fashion. Since the pay for rat catchers is minimal at best, Spencer took to the habit of creating tiny, nearly valueless pieces of jewelry made out of chips from larger stones or bent rings and hiding them about town. A great smile would cross his face when he would see Cat crawling past with an oblong iron ring with a tiny sliver of opal as its centerpiece or an earring made with discolored pearl. Serefine: The woman just makes Spencer uncomfortable. Her quick wit and honest judgements make him uneasy that he will end up the focus of one of her rude rants so he does his best to avoid her despite the fact that she has mentioned to him several times that she would only charge a few silvers to fix the split wood around his doorframe that keeps the latch from fully engaging. "Thanks but the rock is holding it shut just fine for now," is the response Spencer has given each time. Dean: Spencer has never had a focusing crystal, nor does he know what one is. Spencer is certain that fire opals do not actually create magical fire but has never had the opportunity to confirm this suspicion. He is also fairly certain that ice blue topaz is only called that because it resembles blue ice and not because it has any magical properties. In the jewelers opinion, its the user and not the gem that makes them powerful. Appearance: Spencer looks older than he is even though he has seen his fare share of fifty winters. His skin is splotchy from a dozen cases of exposure and his brown beard and hair had turned white and gray years ago, though his bushy eyebrows have miraculously stayed dark. He has put on a few too many pounds over the last couple decades after he wrapped up a short career as an adventurer, putting his skills from the forge and his link to Gond. A small trove of gems began a semi-lucrative career as a jeweler in the small village of Greenest. It was semi-lucrative for awhile, at least, but he's been over generous with is profits and can hardly afford to peddle anything but cheap trinkets these days. Personality: A kind and gentle man, Spencer once had a mind for treasure and a heart for adventure but he put that all aside decades ago and has probably forgotten more about being a cleric than he ever knew in the first place. His business is a bit run down as of late and he's run through the cache of valuable gemstones he acquired back when he was adventuring. He mainly dabbles in cheap trinkets now but is quite content with the simple life he has laid out for himself in Greenest. Why are you in Greenest?:It was the closest town to the dungeon where his adventuring party found a cache of valuable gems. One of the party died in that dungeon and Spencer lost the heart for adventuring after that loss. He put down his weapons after that and opened a jewelers shop. Is there a person in the Greenest area that you care about?:He's given far too many of his businesses profits to the various vagabonds who have wandered into town or farmers who turned up a bad harvest. While some of those he paid to support merely took his coin and left Greenest for greener pastures, some stayed and rebuilt their lives. In fact, Maeve and her son were one such family he helped. They put Spencer's coin to good use and started up a bakery where they make the best pies in the whole area.
