Ok, time to do some rolling. I'm going to go with Milly as my main character, and if when he dies, I'll roll up Roger Connery - while Fanny is Milly's writing companion, he's passing on info to Roger and Sean, since unlike Milly, Fanny stayed on in the army, and now works for Military Intelligence, and uses the hat shop as a drop point / pick up point.
Anyway, on to the rolls: According to the brief, I can roll the stats and then assign, so here goes: Str, Con, Dex, App, Pow, Luc are 3D6 Dice Roll:
Siz, Int, Edu are 2D6+6 Dice Roll:
So let's assign and multiply by 5: Str 6 = 30 Con 9 = 45 Dex 12 = 60 App 5 = 25 Pow 12 = 60 Luc 11 = 55 Siz 11 = 55 Int 14 = 70 Edu 16 = 80 We'll make age 37, so 1 improvement roll for Edu: Dice Roll:
So no improvement there. Other stats: Damage bonus = 0 Build = 0 HP = 10 (multiplied by 1.5 gives 15) MOV = 8 Going with Antiquarian gives me 320 occupation skill points, and 140 Personal points. Quick question: Some Keepers allow "Other language" to be used for 1 language only when it comes up as an occupation skill, others for all other languages - I'm going to go with Latin, Greek, and French, so since Antiquarian has Other Lang as an occupation skill, can I spend occupation points on al 3, or just one language, and the other two come out of Personal? Also, are you using the "similar language" rules (if it's from the same family, you get a bump from the highest skill in that family, to the others in that family)?
