Here's where I'm at ... Kokuryuu left Junkyard with three bounties. He tracked one of them near the valley. If he caught up to any of them and the preacher helped out cool. As 1 bounty is for groups of 3 and one is for a particularly big bad, it's likely he'll run into one of the groups of 3. All three bounties are heading to join a group of bads hassling Crooked creek. He gets into the valley riding in his "Doom"buggie. Received the radio call from Garrett. Which leads him to the Bar. He doesn't drink but these places are great for catching drunken bounties, or information. Its likely Reaper is there, and may be impressed by the Samurai LawDog's fighting abilities. So long as Reaper isn't a bounty , and doesn't brag about his piliging and evil ways. He'll not be at odds with the bounty hunter.

I can agree with your bounties coming to the area to join the Sky Pirates or the Snow Bunnies but not the Combine.

Although the Black Hats are composed mostly of ex-criminals and gangers, most do not volunteer for the group. This is because every Black Hat has what is called a 'Head Banger Chip' which tracks their thought patterns and explodes at the smallest sign of dissidence.

Even if there are some who would join willingly the force threatening Crooked Creek is keeping the operation quiet. Someone looking to sign up for the Combine wouldn't head through Star Valley to get to the group, they have other, more open routes.

Maybe you have a bounty or two trying to join up with the Combine but Kokuryuu would have cut them off and forced them to flee north for them to be in this area.

I could see Father Paul teaming up with Kokuryuu to take out a bounty.

Runs into this strange black-clad old man out in the wastes. Might mistake him for a Black Templar at first but quickly clarifies he's a preacher, man of God, etc. All strange stuff to Koku I imagine. But he offers him a lift to the nearest settlement, maybe taking pity on the old buzzard with no food and water to speak of. Could pick up on one of his bounty trails on the way and Father Paul jumps in for the assist. Could even show off a bit of his healing power to heal a gunshot wound after the fight.

Like I mentioned, Paul and Koku are easy to rationalize as being together for a time, Reaper's the real issue. BlackDragon's and Hotshot have had some ideas but rather than PMing me I want you to discuss it together and come to an agreement. That's what I'm currently waiting on.

personally, i feel reaper would tag along, if only for as the orks say, a proper fight

we is never defeated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't loose neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!

for all intensive purposes, reaper would make a great ork in the 40k universe

Looking over Reaper's backstory he might actually gel better with Father Paul. He's a survivor of the wastes also, just without the edgy motorcycle. Reaper could find Father Paul's camp, catch him sleeping, overcome with bloodlust. He goes to make a snack of the old man when he's jerked awake by his nightmares and is face to face with Reaper. Might even mistake the ghoul for something from his nightmare and attack him. Scuffle ensues, both end up wounded, sizing each other up. A random horror from the wastes could find them both, having smelled blood, and the two of them take it out.

Father Paul patches himself up, Reaper gets his snack, and they part ways. Maybe bumping into one another outside a major settlement and needing someone to vouch for him to let him inside the walls, let alone the bar and such.

Based on what I'm seeing Reaper is chaotic evil and only exists for evil and has no team work ability just rabid dog like tendency. Definitely wouldn't mesh with a Law Dog. But if the preacher wants a shot I'm fine with that. My guy can easily show up alone. And meet everyone at the same time.

I mean, you're not wrong. We can give the character a chance. And if Reaper does continuously give in to those CE urges, we'll get a post-apoc motorcycle out of it.
