Ah, the prize for worst editors, hmm? Part of the fun is in the crazy race to the finish, not the details! Even if the devil is in the details, so to speak, he can keep them. We've no need of such nonsense as reality, realism, or realistic expectations.

48 total posts is the finish line, but you can go charging on past the finish line and all the way around the world again, if you like! I'll shut down the threads at the end of the 2 weeks, but there really should be a prize for "most posts" as well as "fastest to 48."

48 is the total between GM and player, back and forth like tennis. So DM first and then player last I suppose!

I'll be creating three "GM ONLY" threads with all the info, one for each genre, and the GM in each team will have their name added to the right thread at their appointed start time (or as close as I can come to it in Virginia USA).

I considered having a "We Are Too Anxious And We Need the Game Info Sooner" division, but only if people are really really stressed about figuring things out in advance.

I may have forgotten about it totally. Question, though, as I scurry off to ask Filly what we should name our team... how do we name our game if we don't know what the game content will be?

Amidst our gruelling training schedule, Dworin and I have agreed on the following names:

Team name: The Amazing Teatime (pronounced "Te-ah-tim-eh", like the assassin in Hogfather)
Game name: The Café at the End of the Universe

I'm happy there are so many reds who can Detect Invis. We need spying, treachery, sabotage, and other scandals so that our reunion show gets good ratings.

But srsly, my only regret is that the game folder is going to be so cluttered for you guys who can See All. I don't doubt you will keep it fun for yourself by avoiding spoilers.

When we get closer, I'm going to post three threads with all the starting info: The scenario, the settings, the pregens, and the tables to roll on. These threads will be labeled: Fantasy GMs, Steampunk GMs, SciFi GMs. At the designated starting time for their team, GMs will be added to these private threads, so they can see them. The info that the players can see will also be added to the top post on the game thread (pregens, starting scenario). So for reds, they won't get the fun of the thread popping up suddenly, but they'll still know their starting time and when they can dig into the info.

Also, to be clear, you don't have to use the pregens. Or any of the settings. You know the scenario is a rescue, so it would be cool to keep it in that neighborhood, but you are free to be you!
