Two days until the race begins. The table at Race Headquarters is updated. I'm working on a simpler table with just start times.

What can you do to prepare?

1. Eat well, sleep lots, hydrate.
2. Make sure your team's data on the table is correct.
3. Let me know your preferred start time.
4. Go over lines and veils with your race partner.
5. Paint your nails. Stylish fingers type faster.
6. Lay in a supply of Red Vines, root beer, and Takis.
7. Let your family / roommates / neighbors know you will be doing very important secret business for the government / the church / science and cannot be disturbed.
8. Let your other players / GMs know that there will be absolutely no interruption in your posting schedule for other games because you are mighty and contain multitudes.
9. Sharpen your pencils and polish your dice. You may not be using them but they probably need it anyway.
10. Make a forgiveness pact with your partner. No matter what happens, you will not come to blows.

I may actually go paint my nails for the first time in years. Clearly I need to, since I can use all the typing faster that I can get! And not nice calling out my guilty habits, cheerio! Not the Takis, since, well... stomach would rebel. But the rest?

And I have no posting schedule to interrupt, but it's probably a good idea that I do something mature like let everyone know there won't be any interruption I'm liable to be MIA from race start to end.
