One post each done and time for me to sign off for bed. I won't give spoilers but a curse did fly.(I'm inordinately proud of it. I invented it myself).

This idea of the RPG race is frankly one of best ever! You can't do it too often (if you want to stay sane, that is), but once in a while...

And of course, all kudos go to cheerio and filly for the setup. It's awesome. I'm wondering how the SF setting would go?

Next summer we'll all have to reconvene and choose different themes/genres/PCs than we did the first time. Ideally with different GMs and players.

That might be hard... the site staff have purposely built a schedule with site events that covers a lot of ground. From March, when I post "Hall of Fame is coming" through to October or November, whenever Iron GM finishes up. The schedules can probably be tweaked a little, but even asking for a two-week empty spot is hard when moderators have planned their schedules based on the assumption the events will run the same time every year.

Just FYI, though. Not trying to say it couldn't happen, but there is some method to the madness behind the scenes.

I just posted my 12th post, 24th counting the GM's. We're halfway though! We should finish in 36 hours or so. The time zones are not helping (there's a 7 hours difference), so basically our collective "night" lasts 12 hours. And that's only because banana is a kitten-powered super-duper early riser! Anyway, we might as well wrap it up tomorrow night (my night, that is).
