Your story post can represent a few minutes or a few hours in-game. There's nothing immediately pressing on you to do anything within a certain amount of time, currently, so you can define how much or little you do, and whether you try to do it quickly or you take your time

So just trying to gauge where everyone is on this, and it's been a couple of weeks since there was a post from anyone besides Xyza and Kaigen.

My plan for the time being is to get a post up that allows Khrysa and Rahat to move forward with their destination, and anyone who wants to join them certainly can, but I haven't heard much of anything from what everyone else wants to do with their time. Let me know what you all want to do next.

So, as of today, it's been about a month since the last in-game post was made, and we're still short two players. I imagine a good deal of this is because it's the holiday season and people are busy.

And of course, I'm no exception on that front. This past month has been up and down for me for a variety of reasons, and between finding time to post and finding the motivation, it has been difficult. Glad that starting next year, I won't have to deal with most of these issues.

That being said, I am still interested in this game and do want it to continue, so with that in mind, I'm going to get a post in over this weekend to move things along. After the holiday season, though, I'd like to gauge everyone's level of interest and availability. If this game is going to stay afloat, I'd like to see it return to the original once-a-week plan if at all possible.

I completely missed your (now 2 week old) request for a check in, sorry! I am still interested in continuing this game at a once-a-week rate in the new year.

I think I've mentioned that I started school, so I will not be able to check/post every day, but I intend to be online here on Mondays and Fridays for the foreseeable future.

Update incoming for this weekend. Still trying to figure out where everyone is at as I haven't gotten answers from everyone, but let's keep going for now and hopefully, things start to get sorted as we go.

Do I need to make a new casting check to land on a fish directly, or can I go straight to making a hooking check since I've revealed them?

Once you've revealed a fish, you can attempt to Hook it, however just bear in mind that the further you are away from the fish, the higher the DC to overcome. It starts at 8 and adds +3 for every 5-foot square from your line it is.

However, you can make a re-cast check if you would like to try and get closer, just keep in mind there is a small chance that the fish might move between castings.

I mentioned this on the Discord server already, but for anyone who missed it, I just moved across the country and arrived at my new apartment as of Friday, the 10th. Internet is scheduled to be connected Wednesday morning, and I'm off that day, so you can be sure posts will be forthcoming in all games!

I'm pleased to announce that after three long weeks of delays, I finally have internet again! I'm no longer bound to my limited phone data! Woohoooo!

In the spirit of that, I'll be resuming posting in all games post-haste!

Xyza and Kaigen, I wanted to let you know that I really appreciate that both of you were willing to stick things out and remained active this whole time. As always, its a pleasure to RP with you, and I hope I get ample opportunity to continue doing so going forward.

Unfortunately, as we're now down three out of our original five and it has been more than a month since I asked for a role call, it doesn't look like we'll be able to continue, and I honestly don't have the headspace to go recruiting/teaching new people or trying to retcon/change things to fit a new ensemble.

As a result, there are a couple of choices available, which are either to continue with just the two remaining players and do without, or simply shelve this project for the time being and move on to other things. I'm not against the former, but I'm leaning towards the latter and simply inviting the two of you to play with me in whatever my next game is.

I'm happy to hear your thoughts, however, and move forward based on what you all want.

I completely understand not wanting to have to do another round of recruiting/retooling. I'm happy to continue on with just the three of us, but I'm also okay with shelving the game.

After speaking with Xyza, I'm presently considering continuing with just two players (and me of course), but I must needs consider how to go about it. I don't want to fully reboot the game, nor do I want to play a bunch of NPCs until I can properly exit them. So with that in mind, give me a bit to consider how to approach this, and if I can come up with something, we'll do that :3
