good resource for level chamges too lets go with that.. morgrave $hitkicker$ pushng into the Mournland Easy. something is up at the north end the Silver Flame church is attemptung to conceal in some way. what is happening? will the M.U. beefit? can you seize control of it without provoking a holy war? all to be defined. you'll start off inserting into the mournland.and start the search. feed back so far?

Oh gosh, I didn't do that either!
Here's some flavor then, to go with the build: Zuri, Goliath... (Or since Goliath don't quite exist as a race in Eberron, how about we re-flavor her to some sort of half-human from the frozen wastes north of Karrnath!) Zuri was found as just a baby, in the smoking ruins of a village, likely the victim of some sort of raid or infighting in the wild mountains just north of Karrnath. Despite her obvious monstrous (or ugly, they never really checked) features, the leader of the patrol declared they would take the child in to the nearest temple of the Silver Hand, to be raised in the service of good and exorcism! A month or so later, a troupe of Clerics and Paladins of the Sovereign Host happened to stumble across the burnt down temple of the Silver Hand. The only survivor (an orc attack, they surmised) was the child. The leader of the troupe, a well respected Shining Blade of Arawai known as Marta, declared that the child was "just so cute.. look at her cute little face! Who's a good little girl then...", and would brook no argument to the contrary. She was getting advanced in her age, and some of the group took this to be simply her biological impulses taking over. Others simply advanced the theory that she was never that brilliant to begin with. In any case, she adopted the girl, and once the troupe had hunted down some nearby orcs, she retired with her to another temple, this one devoted to the Sovereign Host. One where, after a hint of pressure from Marta, the girl was accepted as a trainee with the other holy warriors. It was discovered not long after this that the girl had some residual magical abilities, perhaps from her monstrous (or ugly, they never checked either) heritage. When she was around, things seemed to move themselves of their own accord, usually when the child wanted something and couldn't reach. She also seemed to have a surprising aptitude for finding the most flammable things in the area, and bringing candles to them. It was suggested that the child be trained in the magical arts, perhaps as a sorcerer or wizard, but Marta glared at people till they stopped suggesting it. Her oogums was a crusader! (She nicknamed Zuri oogums, and it ended up being her teachers that gave her the name Zuri). And so, time passed, and Zuri grew. As children often do. Despite her heritage, she was a friendly girl, with golden hair and bright blue eyes. Despite that, she had few friends in the monastery, as she also developed tree-trunk arms and splotchy skin, and Marta became increasingly senile, continuing to refer to her as Oogums. And so, one of the kinder clerics began to look for other educational opportunities. As well as to get her out of the temple. More than once, Zuri had wandered off when someone wasn't looking, and Marta tended to yell when that happened. Very, very, very loudly. Luckily, this cleric had been an adventurer in his years past, and a wizard owed him a favor. |
