Well I'll be putting things like my discourse on undead in there. Just factoids about the world that may be useful to know.

I'm going to allow you to also purchase items with your starting gold. This is justified as your starting gold doesn't necessarily exist in game, but rather represents the total value of items you are starting out with. The crafter's get what they want for half price essencially so it somewhat makes sense that those who aren't making their own are more likely to have run into (or actively sought out) magical items, but would end up with significantly less by value than those who do it themselves.

Don't mistake it, it wasn't easy for you to get those items though.

Not pre-game, but I figure on that sort of thing happening once we start.

I expect you to have some sort of reason for your magical items, they could have been given to you by your master, taken in payment for a service or stolen from an ancient tomb.

Soon enough, there are still two character sheets I haven't seen, and a few more unfinished. Keep in mind that I chose a slow posting rate for this game for a few reasons.

1. This is more or less the rate that most of the games I'm in have settled into, despite higher advertised rates. I wanted to be honest.

2. I'm starting back at uni, I don't want to risk pouring too much time away from that.

3. Most of you will be acting independently from one another, meaning that what is 2 times a week for you is several times that for me, although I will likely be able to do more than one of them at once.

What XP progression are we using? (Fast, Medium, Slow) It'll determine our starting XP as well.

Fast until level 7, med until 12 slow past there

I just posted this for TheSage, but it's important for everybody, here it is (Paraphrased slightly)

Income The chances are high that many of you will not be spending quite as much of the game following the mindset "Kill it and take it's stuff" and I support this, and will be offering both in game, and forum based, if it qualifies for one, it probably qualifies for the otherRPXP for doing interesting things or for playing your character out, particularly if you know that this will lead you into a disadvantageous position, but your character would do it anyway. But back onto the "Killing things and taking their stuff" well that covers the killing things side of it, but it's a fairly major point that the things you kill are significantly less likely to actually have stuff worth taking. But many of you are in a position to get around that, some of you are nobles with taxable land, others are businessmen these folk will likely receive an income, but may also find that they have more things they have to spend it on. Others who are unlikely to spend their time killing, or ruling however may need to put some effort in obtaining profit, either by using an army to obtain the funds (It's called "Aggressive Negotiations") or by finding a patron who is rich and easily sold on the idea of having a magician ally Because advancement is not finely balanced here, one of you may even be able to choose to support the other as a patron at some point
