If you are doing it for combat reasons, I'm sure she wouldn't mind....if you are doing it to make her look fat, or some other male thought process type reason....well she might not like that very much.

Both Wizards are Female, I'm sure they understand.

I mostly took it because I figured when the giant issue rolls around at least someone is going to want to fight them on their own terms.

"Elenion Valdemar" Name: Elenion Valdemar Gender: Male Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Deity: Desna Race: Half-Elf (Mierani Elf/Chelixian Human) Age: 25 Class: Rogue (Swashbuckler) Trait: Merchant Family Homeland: Magnimar Posting Rate: I can usually post once a day, perhaps even a few times a day if appropriate to the situation. There will be some times when I won't necessarily be able to keep up, of course, but I'm pretty good about making sure to inform everyone else of those (see signature).   Elenion Valdemar is a lithe, agile half-elf male, standing about 5'11" tall and of lean, muscular build. Clean shaven, with short blond hair kept deliberately messy and prominent blue eyes, he's capable of projecting a variety of airs and personalities, although his default attitude towards the world at large is one of self-assured optimism bordering at times on smugness. Well dressed in the current styles when about town, the rogue adopts a more pragmatic approach when traveling or otherwise adventuring, adopting a slightly blackened suit of leather armor and a well secured backpack full of a variety of adventuring equipment.   Elenion was concieved in a tryst between one of the daughters of Magnimar's Valdemar merchant family and a member of an embassy from the elves of the Mierani forest who were passing through the city. Born to a mother unready to raise a child and a father unwilling to stay in human lands to do so, much of Elenion's parenting was provided by other members of the Valdemar clan, who raised the half-blooded child as if he was fully one of their own. Elenion grew to become a peripheral member of the Valdemar mercantile holdings, developing a reputation as a wily businessman if also perhaps something of a scoundrel and a rake. When an unmarried women in House Derexhi became pregnant and publicly fingered Elenion as the father, a minor scandal erupted between their two houses. Elenion has consistently denied any part in the conception of the child, publicly touting his common sense and self restraint while privately emphasizing his common sense and consistent use of contraception. The story, however, gained traction around town, and has since come to be viewed as an accepted fact among certain elements of Magnimar society. The half-elf knew cities well enough, certainly, having been born and raised in Magnimar and even having had the chance to spend some time in Riddleport with one of his uncles as a teenager. Rural life he had seen enough of to easily recognize, particularly during his journey of the past few days. But this here, this was something different, somewhere between the crowding and claustrophobia of city life and the stagnant boredom of rural isolation. It was something he could get used to, certainly, at least for a vacation. There was something missing in this strange place, true, this little collection of buildings that looked like a bunch of bumpkins had tied a few too many off one night and decided to make some sort of little city of their own, but it certainly had its own appeals. Gods knew that this place smelled better than Magnimar, at the very least. Slowing his stride as the density of people around him increased, the half-elf scanned the streets around him, examining the strangers as covertly as he could while they went about enjoying the festival. He would go unnoticed in the crowds of out-of-towners running about the place, he knew, something that could easily prove to his advantage until he got both of his feet on the ground here. Until then, he'd do well to get on the good side of one of the more popular locals, the sort of person who shaped the opinion of their fellows rather than the other way around. Someone like that person, he realized, thoughts culminating just as his eyes passed over his chosen friend and mark. Unless Elenion was badly mistaken, he had just found someone who would do quite nicely. Ruddy faced and with a body slowly going to fat, the man stood at the center of a group of his fellows, listening to the chatter of his companions and dispensing the occasional well-appreciated joke, a noble of the common folk holding court on the front stoop of his house. Judging by the overly assertive nature of his posture and amount of ale that seemed to have found its way onto his porch this early in the day, something of a wild one too, even if one beginning to lose his hair to the onset of middle age. This, Elenion knew instinctively, was the sort of man who appreciated good times and good company, a kindred soul of his, if perhaps one of very different background. This man, however, seemed to have settled down and made an honest man out of himself, or at least been made into an honest man by someone at any rate. The layout of the house and small yard, to say nothing of the man's attitude towards it, suggested some sort of ownership of the property rather than rental, and the size of the house implied a family as well. A once a wild young man, then, corralled into marriage by some clumsy biological mistake? Elenion knew plenty of those types, holding down mundane jobs and chafing under the tedium of it all while slowly being trained to bear the yoke of a responsible life. Something in the man's laugh, however, the way he guffawed and slapped the railing at some follower's flattering joke, told Elenion that this man wasn't quite broken in quite yet, that he was still a scoundrel at heart, and probably the sort that would enjoy associating with a scoundrel still running wild at the peak of his life. Yes, Elenion was not mistaken, this man would do quite nicely. Breaking off from the road, Elenion strode towards the group of men, holding his hand above his eyes to keep the sun out of them and, incidentally, to provide a more unimposing first impression. The trick, he had found, to any interaction with someone used to being at the top of the social hierarchy was to strike just the right balance of stature and intention. Project an image of too little power, and one was bound to be pushed around, but putting on too much of an air of authority could easily lead to the perception of a challenge, generally not a desirable situation. Better to give off an image of benign confidence, the sort of attitude that implied you were unable to be pushed around by others nor inclined to try and push around them. Elenion had no doubts about his poise or skills, and he was from the one of the great cities of Varsia, something that he knew that the less urban residents respected, however much they might feign scorn. The other man, of course, was on his home turf, surrounded by his friends and with half a foot of height over Elenion from the porch to boot. All in all, it seemed a pretty even match up to him. Elenion smiled. The group of men had noticed him, and it was time for his game face. "Anywhere around here a traveler can get a decent bed?" The question was presented so that it may well have been directed towards the group at large, but anyone watching closely might have be able to discern that the half-elf's question and attention at one individual in particular. Elenion's target, however, wasn't the first to respond, still examining the newcomer with an appraising look when one of his buddies spoke up. "We've got a few, yeah. If you're looking to save a bit of coin, there are probably plenty of folks in town right now that you could share a bed with, but, well, if you're willing to drop a bit more, you could find someone to really share a bid with, no problem, you know?" The wiry man's grin and suggestive eyebrows, combined with the lackluster amusement of his friends, made his meaning blindingly clear. That one was something of a comedian, then, or at least fancied himself that when a couple of pints had loosened up his tongue. Elenion gave a gradual smile and a chuckle in response to the man's joke, friendly if certainly not too eager to place. Someone near the edge and just outside of Elenion's field of view made some sort of crack about men not being available for that sort of thing around here, but he ignored that comment for now, maintaining his expression and giving nothing more than a disinterested glance in the direction of the heckler. The half-elf was under no illusions that that sort of comment was anything less than an insult among this sort of crowd, but this was neither the time nor the place to deal with that sort of thing. Petty mudslinging, after all, was one thing, but business was something else, something fundamentally more important, even if one's business was something as delicate and seemingly casual as friendly socialization. "Lets do things one at a time, here," Elenion responded, shifting into a more serious expression. "I'm looking for somewhere to stow my pack right now, that's all. Once I get all that sorted out, well, maybe then I'll start doing them two or three at a time, eh?" Slipping in to a wink and a grin a second or two after delivering the punchline deadpan, Elenion was pleasantly surprised to find the joke getting quite a few genuine grins and laughs from the assembled group. It was an old joke in Magnimar, if perhaps one that could usually gather a few polite chuckles from any audience that wasn't overtly hostile, but apparently it hadn't made its way out here yet, at least not to these folks. The ruddy faced man, Elenion particularly noted, seemed amused by the joke, apparently pushing his opinion of the newcomer over the proverbial fence. The balding man thought for a few moments, stirred from his rest, and strode forward to the front of the porch. "Come on up, you mutt," he called out, gesturing the half-elf up the stairs with his hand. The joshing rang a bit hallow, true, but Elenion recognized it for the attempt at camaraderie it was, giving his new friend a smile and a nod as he began to ascent the stairs.

FYI, everyone, I had a bit of trouble setting it up so that my character sheet could be viewed from the characters thread. The way that I manged to do things, based on having copied off someone else once before and done this before (not saying this in the only way) is to wrap the "nsheet" tags around the 5-digit numeric ID of my character sheet, a sequence of 5 digits you can find from your character sheet list or near the end of the character sheet's URL.

Just the campaign trait unless you want to burn a feat for the second one... I need to doublecheck that feat though too...
