I read this and thought, "Well I had assumed that our pack animal would be a quadruped, but I guess just sticking our stuff on a goose could work"

And pack animals are pretty cheap, 8 gp for a donkey. It's only when you want them trained to ride that they get expensive.

I would love to have Estella to scribe some scrolls too, but alas, that potion of CLW was pretty expensive for lvl 1. I just rather have Estella hang on the extra gold to make her look kinda semi-rich lol (to a commoner at least)

And then I was thinking that both Estella and Taika both have a familiar, and we can just give them a mini-backpack... lol J/k... is it even possible to make your familiar into a pack animal though?

Sort of, given that a pack animal is just an animal with specific training. Our familiars have sufficient intelligence to render this moot. The other component is their own carry capacity. I don't know about your familiar, but Nevin has a STR of 3.

Masterwork backpack increases strength by 1 for carrying capacity. Throw in Ant Haul and Bulls strength and the monkey can carry as if he had 3 times the carrying capacity of STR 8, which is sizable, but doesn't last long enough for overland travel.

...or, you know, we could shell out 8 gp for an actual pack animal. But that would be admitting that arcane magic cannot solve all your problems.

Even if you're not going to put any actual weight in it, I still vote that we give Nevin a tiny little monkey backpack, just for the adorability factor

Max gold for a 1st level rogue, for example, is 240 gold. Potion of 1st level, 1st CL spell is 50 gold. It's a big investment, but a good one I think.

Also, I'm pretty sure that masterwork backpack isn't pathfinder core rulebook or APG, so you might want to clear that with UncaJJ first

Yeah, considering how much trouble I had getting my items in my backpack, I would have LOVED a masterwork backpack! Too bad the game was 3.5e... *sigh*

As for me DukeofTuring my app, yeah, not REALLY a thing, but I will probably use it as an inside joke... too funny when people have a concept so in mind they don't pay attention to what's needed for the group...

Unlike your average cartoon character Taika has more than one outfit and colour scheme.

However she is caucasian and brunette and her travel clothes entail a woolen cloak, dark green, over a white robe.
