Yeah, considering how much trouble I had getting my items in my backpack, I would have LOVED a masterwork backpack! Too bad the game was 3.5e... *sigh*

As for me DukeofTuring my app, yeah, not REALLY a thing, but I will probably use it as an inside joke... too funny when people have a concept so in mind they don't pay attention to what's needed for the group...

I actually did that to some degree for this game - wanted to play a caster, and when I put in the app it looked like there were several completed arcane casters and few divine ones. The previous game I applied to was just the opposite, so I applied with a wizard. (Still didn't get in.)

For the Shattered Star game, I was waffling back and forth between a fighter and rogue, and could still change easily.

I probably got bunch of things wrong (like colors and what not), and the familiars were intentionally left out (there were no monkeys in OotS, and I can't produce one without a template!) But... well, better than nothing, right? lol

Oh yeah, forgot that familiars in OotS vanish until acknowledged! Though as TheMystic said, Taika would probably have her familiar on her shoulder anyway-- too bad I can't draw monkeys to save my life.

My thoughts exactly. I'm not sure how our PCs are getting railroaded into this adventure, but it'd seem a good from my perspective if the PCs do a bit of casual socializing around the festival before we get into the adventure itself. Taika and Estella can enjoy themselves amongst the festivities, Urko can get plastered and try and wrestle some half-ogre, Elenion can schmooze his way around town while trying to get into the pants/skirt/robes/armor of any eligible looking women, Lanna can introduce him to the concept of a black eye, and Kurdan can just generally go around killing everyone's buzz, like a control rod in the social version of a nuclear reactor .
