Hey guys, Thursday night a massive sudden windstorm came through and took out a bunch of trees on my block, including damaging the house on the corner in such a way that it shorted out the transformer for our block. Until the corner house gets fixed the power company can't do anything to restore our power. As far as I know, due to the extreme heat, the workers that the corner house hired have not been working, and we're still out power.

Though temperatures are now starting to go down this week we still doubt we'll have power until Monday or Tuesday, and my father, our two pitbulls, and I are staying at my Grandmother's house for the time being. My grandmother and I get along about as well as Potassium and water, and they have a new beagle puppy who will not leave my one year old pit bull Tristan alone, so I spend most of my day herding them around and just wanting to go home.

While I technically have internet access, I have very little time to sit down and write, and even if I did the dogs and grandma are stressing me out and I'm really tired and just don't want to write. so I have to say I'm out until our power comes back guys, I'm really sorry.

I'm glad to know that you're okay! I tried messaging you on Skype, but I realized that your power was probably down too. Anyway, take your time and sorry 'bout your grandma. I have the same sort of trouble with my mom's mom, who's one of those religious nuts and not at all easy to talk to. And I know what you mean about the dogs. I had to babysit my sister's pup for a weekend and it was not fun. Granted, you have three to take care of at the moment, so I imagine it's a lot more stressful.

Anyway, it's good to know that you're okay and, at least on my part, you don't have to worry about taking too long.

I was and still am interested in returning, but I'm afraid right now I'm going through a rather nasty breakup with my boyfriend of 5 years, so I'm sapped of most if not all of my creative motivation. My posts will be sub-par at best, and I apologize for this.

In the meantime I'll toss my character profile in the thread.

Also, I might use this DnD thing as a swift kick in the ass to get going again. Is there any chance of possibly being able to double characters later on? I have an idea for a female character, and wouldn't mind playing as two people if it's allowed. Figure it might help get my mind going again, and generate more traffic if people have left. Of course, it'll have to be later, but... you get it, haha.

Honestly Kayoh I can't say for sure yet, as this is my first experience with DMing we'll see how it goes. Ask me again when you're ready to roll up your second character and we'll see where we're at!

As an addition to your posts I ask that you ad the following information to the end of all combat posts for easy access to information, though if you opted to add it to the end of all posts you wouldn't catch me complaining. It just makes it easier to find relevant information quickly for players and DM alike without having to go digging through the character sheet for something as simple as the DC of a spell.

Yes hello hi guys, I guess I should post here since I am apparently part of this now. I'm Rae Rae's co-admin on Whazzit Weyrd, you can call me CZ or whatever works for you, I'm a pretty chill chick. I'm the oldest it looks like, 25, and already finished my bachelor's (philosophy!) and have a job now at a state college as the lab coordinator assistant. This is also my first time doing anything dice-style as far as roleplay goes soooo it will be an interesting experience!
