Oh hey, fellow Persona fan! Well, nothing too specific, but I'm currently gravitating towards sales & trading. Stocks are my main area of interest after all. Haven't thought of particular companies to work for yet though, first I'd like to at least get into an internship and see if it's really for me. Yourself?

A few questions,

Are we still adding the racial stat bonus?

Any problem with the traits Avid reader, and Unintentional linguist?

You said we get our skill points from our intelligence modifier, but what about our class skills? Is everything cross class, or do we get the class skills representing what our characters are good at?

What about starting gold and gear?

And you said you wanted to know what our characters are doing, does that mean you wanted us to post first in our threads what our characters are up to?

You don't have any class skills at this time, starting gold and gear won't be much- maybe ten gold worth, tops. Most of you don't need it though, as you are still at home.

You are still adding the racial stats bonus, and those traits are fine.

As for what you are doing, I'd like to know a bit about what they are doing at this time, yes- you can make an OOC post about it in your private threads, or you can let me know if you'd like to open up the roleplay with where you are and what you are doing, and I'll take it from there. If not, I'll just write a general setup.

Belatedly: hello!

Apologies for the delay. According to the error messages, my PC's hard drive died entirely two days ago. As you can tell, that's not quite accurate, but it does seem to be on its last legs.... :P

I'll be spending a good portion of today trying to scavenge parts from other machines and see if I can get this one into a rather more stable state. But I apologise if I disappear - I might find getting online a little harder than normal, and probably won't be able to give warning if my computer does die.


Myself, I'm chronically ill (and therefore not working), British, married, have been playing and running games longer than than our GM's been alive (I, too, was introduced to red box Basic D&D when it was bought for my elder sister!), and am feeling rather too old to be crawling around under desks peering at misbehaving machinery.

@HereticForLife I don't have any specific ideas right now. Went for a business admin degree because it's rather broad in application I think, so it gives me lots of options, plus it goes along with a lot of the retail, sales, and management experience I already have. The important part is that I'm improving myself and moving forward, instead of being stuck on a hamster wheel of idle nothingness. Good luck in your upcoming semester!

@Outcast My laptop's hard drive died outright a couple months back. Remember to back everything up. I lost everything on that, and I really wish I'd had some sort of forewarning that it was going to go kaput.

Hello all! Super belated greetings. I've checked in on my phone while camping but couldn't really type up anything. I'm 24, unemployed and teaching myself programming. 90% of my dnd experience comes from this site, though I do have a background in freeform roleplaying. Looking forward to playing with you all!

No problem! Once everyone has posted in their OOC threads what their characters are doing, we'll get underway. I want to see who I can get together quickest, and what region I'm going to stick everyone in.

The Story thread is going to be a mixture of information about the world and ongoing chronicle from a wider perspective.

Oh wow, I ended up being away from my computer the whole day and missed the poll Well anyway I don't mind the result. Spectators are nice, as long as we can't see each other as well. I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise if I happen to be near somebody else!
