I'm doing research on atomic bomb survivors. Technically this go around is to introduce me to the area and the laws surrounding them that are specific to Hiroshima, but I'm here all the same. Hooray? All in all, I did finally find an adapter for three-prong service, so I'm working through my queue this afternoon/evening.

It's RotRL time. Down one, but that's ok. We've got a fanciful bunch, right? Right!?

Let's get crazy and get into the swing of things.

I am glad that my plan to have Daxis appear as a caricature of himself is unfolding as planned! I mean, he was never actually supposed to successfully seduce anyone in the party so you guys are playing into it perfectly!

Also, as a general rule I have everyone roll a group of Initiatives and Perceptions in advance so I can use them, and I figure now is a good time to get those.

Everyone roll 5 Initiatives, and 5 Perceptions. It helps speed combat and exploration up a bit, and we'll definitely need the latter a lot in the coming posts The former, not so much.

Will get those up after work cause rolling from a phone feels like I am tempting fate more than usual.

When people say the former or the latter, it takes me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out what they mean

Maybe we should just roll everything 100 times and Sass can tell us if we win the game or not?

That was not as bad as I had feared, but the first Perception makes sense... she is distracted by all the weirdos

I'm not sure 100 Initiative rolls are enough for RotRL, to be perfectly honest

As an example of what I want from OOC descriptions of your actions, check this out; spoiler tags are not necessary:

 

Out of Character Reflex Save: 16, fail Move Action: 30 feet charge to the bottommost Direwolf Standard Action: Attack with main blade, 19 to hit, 11 damage

Also note that the Goblins are not flat-footed since they burst out of the hay in advance; Daxis is also not flat-footed but jumping out of the hay and onto the ground from the cart was their action for the turn/surprise round. Anywho, work with their normal AC unless Touch is involved; then things get complicated.
