Visiting Lee's apartment in the real world, involving the Scarlet Legion, or anything else that was brought up is still possible. I'll need to figure those out before I can launch the next episode, but I think the other adventures that are launching soon aren't ready yet either so there is no haste.

Privy as I am to discussions among the DMs, I'm not sure how to proceed personally, so I'll just note we're I am:
- I'm very interested in participating in the next episode.
- I have enough PCs out that others should get priority.
- I'd rather continue with a different character, one of my existing 2Ls or a new 1L if that's more appropriate.

From what I've heard, I suspect there won't be enough space for me, but I'm not clear on that at all.

While I can't speak on the party planning and whether there will be a spot or not (I sure hope so), from my end I'll be completely fine if you enter the next episode with another character.

For now though, I'd like to figure out if there are some consequences from the adventure that could stem from anything that Geghard does in response to the events of this quest. If Geghard goes into hiding, tries to forget and live his life normally, or flees the continent, I'd like to know that too.

Geghard would not just leave it. He would try to bring in some competent third party. I guess he would start trying to find a knowledgeable wizard, possibly an "adventurer" if necessary. I don't think he would go to the legion. If he couldn't find someone to hand it off to, he might decide to keep an eye on Alma, as little as that would be worth.

Hm. I guess if some of the others were interested, he might seek out Lee with them. He'd bring that up at the loot split at the Inn.

Given all that, I guess I'll have to contrive a convincing reason for him to drop out. Maybe he was called home to a funeral.

I'll add: so if he'd help to establish the next chapter for you, I'm happy to collaborate or to just hand him off to you as an NPC.

Aurora would certainly be interested in joining, as she doesn't like that there is a potential cultist around.

Sounds good. To do some networking in the Westhaven wizard scene, please give me an Investigation (CHA) check. About keeping an eye on Alma, once Geghard goes to that measure, please let me know his general approach.

I don't think anything of the sort is necessary. The next episode will happen through direct recruitment from adventurers in the On Your Shield. As long as Geghard doesn't fatefully go to the inn on that exact day, he really has no narrative reason to join that quest to begin with. So you're good with having Geghard continue his interest/obsession without writing him out of the story. But if you do find that such a reason is necessary, that's of course fine by me.

That's all right for now, I'm good to start as is. What I'm trying to do is to help Geghard tell his story and for him to stay relevant for as long as you want to keep telling his story. Although, if you want to kill him off in order to reroll him into a new 2nd-level character, that's something I could definitely help you with too. Maybe I could also use him as an NPC without killing him, but I think for the next episode I'm good.

There's no time pressure holding you back from that. As you know, Lee's domicile is a mere walk away from the Magic Shop which you're presumably all visiting together before you split the gold. So if any of you want to take that opportunity to investigate, just let me know and I'm here to help.

I'm planning on Oguun multi-classing to wizard, but one level isn't going to make him a highly skilled wizard competent to delve into Almavalesh's problems It would add a few useful things though.
