Sorry to hear about your injury, but glad to see you back. Got yourself a good healer there?

A strong minded monk should be ok. He's probably the most equipped to handle his own potential demise. Also, this is Atlantis, so we all know the end of that story.

Well, part of the legend of Atlantis speaks of the "Light that came from the West" (in some Occidental mystic traditions), speaking of survivors to the Atlantean cataclysm... let's try our hand in being those who sent the wisdom of Atlantis to Egypt!

I'm sorry to ask, I don't mean to be rude, but are you waiting on someone to do something?

Heh, just looking over my character sheet, I shouldn't be surprised that a cat burglar has a +13 stealth at 1st level....

should have my sheet linked and even a picture now...Heh, even ended up with a lot of left over gold. Maybe I should have gotten a ranged weapon...
On a related note..what are the common languages of Atlantis? That would greatly help out the last thing I want to do ...add languages... Last edited by Nomadic druid; Apr 9th, 2014 at 09:08 PM. |

Actually, there are only 10 posts in the "Destined" thread and both Hound and Nomadic have already posted there.
There are, indeed, two missing people among us. ![]()

Yes, many teachings received and practised by the monks revolve around the impermanant nature of things and lives, that is, everything will eventually come to an end and so any kind of existence is merely temporary, momentary even when considering the vastness of time. Death? How is that different fom falling asleep at the end of one's day?

Monks (Buddhist monks, at least) are also taught about reincarnation and life in the spirit World (which is more or less equivalent to life in our world, but with less bodily needs), so death is nothing but change, it is not the end of anything.
When someone dies, we say he/she is born in another realm... the same when someone is born (he/she died in another realm).
