![]() Character https://www.rpgcrossing.com/profiler/view.php?id=87779 Name: Azrael "Luther" Brimfire Race: Tiefling Class/Archtype: Witch (Warlock) Gender: Male Alignment: Neutral Good Appearance: He stands only 5’6” and weighs a measly 125lbs, but his body is wiry and fit. His dark black eyes match his black horns but provide contrast to his bright white hair and red skin. He wears modestly little clothes and no amor to speak of. Personality: He is jovial and outgoing. He is used to the stereotyping of his race and career choices and for the most part lets it slide off like water on his skin. He knows better than most that not everyone gets along, but you must compromise. He likes his food and drink but needs to be careful of overindulging. Casting hexes and curses in fights does not make you welcome. He tends to go by Luther rather than his official name of Azrael which he uses for business purposes. Background: He was born a bastard and given to witches to be raised as a baby deep in the forest. That is all he knows of his past history. He learned and lived under several witches in the western forest of Sanos. He chooses not to specialize under any of them, but learn a little of each. He was released (pushed out) from his coven and only home at eighteen and sent to make his mark in the world. After three months of traveling through the Sanos forest he ended up by sheer luck or fate in Sandpoint just in time for the Swallowtail Festival. Short term goal/Motivations: Improve his capabilities/magic, make friends and money which will help with his first goal. Long term goal: Show the realm that not all Tieflings and witches are of evil nature and to be the most powerful and famous (Not Infamous) witch. Last edited by Clawsome; Jan 5th, 2023 at 07:59 PM. |

Hello, I am interested but I never played pathfinder so I was reading the material and is like too overwhelming (specially the feat part... too many and I barely understand the synergy so I don't know who are the best). I Kind of like two concepts; A Paladin chosen one or a summoner so I was wondering If is there a chance to someone aid me in this setting?

There's no shame in asking for help with the mechanics of your character. Just come up with a concept then one (or many) of us can help you make it. Last edited by triedtherest; Dec 21st, 2022 at 05:18 PM. |

I am planning to have a HUman summoner that use ranged attack as a backup to his eilodon. His eilodon is like a inuyasha female prototype. Some kind of wolf/cat humanoid that will fight using her claws and maybe in the long run use a big greatsword? or just keep improving her claw attacks maybe? I don't understand how the multiattack works and what are the penalties; also, how that it might work if she use a weapon instead? THe human background will be of a law enforcer/peacekeeper of the town. Last edited by jr1v3; Dec 21st, 2022 at 05:43 PM. |

So basically in Pathfinder you have your three actions, Standard, Move, Swift. If you have multiple attacks from having a Base Attack Bonus of 6, Two Weapon Fighting, or Multiple Natural Weapons you can make multiple attacks but it takes your entire turn of actions except for a few things like 5 foot steps. Depending on exactly what sort you have, you take penalties for some of those attacks.. The only rule about combining natural weapons and manufactured weapons is you can't use a limb holding a weapon with an attack. So if you had 2 claws and a 1 handed sword you can make a claw attack(free hand) and a sword attack (other hand).
Quote:
If you have the multi-attack secondary attacks only take a -2 penalty. So if you go with the bipedal eidelon, you have claws, limbs (arms), and limbs (legs). To maximize the effectiveness you want to have the claws on the legs and that leaves you with your arms free to hold a weapon. So your attack without any other evolution or upgrades would be greatsword (Normal hit modifier and 2d6+strength mod for damage), and 2 claw attacks at normal hit-5 and d4+1/2 strength bonus. If you used no greatsword your attacks would be 2 claw attacks at normal hit modifier and d4+strength bonus. I hope that helps with the attacks. As for traits and feats, that is up to you. You should pick a trait from the player's guide as that will help ground your character in the campaign. I always like Armor Expert for reducing check penalties. There are many that give you additional skill points or boosts to certain saving throws. If you are going for ranged, you will need point blank shot and precise shot as soon as possible. The rest can be spent making you or your eidolon deadlier.

Extra Evolution is a favorite feat of mine for summoners. 1 extra point in your pool. And if you go Unchained Summoner, you can take the Soulbound archetype to get even more evolutions (at the cost of some other features, of course, like the Summon Monster ability). Not that I recommend something so complex to a first time player. (Though I think the archetype is a little easier)

Resource
A companion to the Player's Guide map of Varisia. Locations are approximative. The Geography part does not include rivers. The Squares and Circles part covers settlements (and possibly a few landmarks). I made it, so feel free to copy and use on your computer; it's a site resource.
(Click on the thumbnails to see the full-size images. Open the buttons to access the indexes.) Left: Geography -- Right: Squares and Circles ![]() ![]()

That is definitely a new way to make maps, writelite. At least for me. I agree with Goldmyr. Out your character up here. Goldmyr will choose those that they want to take part in the game. Often not an easy job

Friends, it is my intention to support the game. Will it need a replacement character, I will have one prepared. There may be other, backstage ways to assist you - like that map companion.
But competing with others for a place in the game, especially CS people, is something I don't want to do. Please understand. I wouldn't say more. The map companion, @Norse, is something I built in order to easily locate references from the Guide; I found the original map pretty, but hard to follow. I shared it in case others faced the same difficulty.

I don't know why it wouldn't be allowed. It's technically weaker than the regular summoner. I'd be more surprised if they allowed regular summoner (especially the synthesist archetype for it).

What do you mean? It depends which curse you take for what benefits and drawback you get.

I mean I was reading the soulbond feature but it seems as Souldbound summoner I only get the drawback of the course and no the benefits and instead I got the ability to use magic, right?
