Posting Times/Availability I am available to post at least 1/week, very likey it'll be more unless I'm on a business trip or vacation or something. I usually don't have time on the weekends (though that may change once I graduate in May).

Brief Overview I'm a big 'ol nerd and love my big 'ol dice. I've been playing TTRPG's since the late 2000's in college. Most of my experience since then has been in online formats with voice chat and a virtual tabletop. I have done pbp via discord for about a year, using that as our forum with different channels for in-character, ooc, dice rolls, maps, etc. I've played PF 1e (a ton), D&D 5e (a lot), 4e (a little, my only in-person playtime in the last decade or so), and 3.5 (way back in college). Also did a little bit of Starfinder but don't remember much of it. I am also a fan of writing. Been writing this and that since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Went to school for engineering and while I love my job, it's not scratching that itch. So I went back to school (online) for a master's in creative writing and am currently working on my thesis. Which is the main reason weekends are busy. As to characters, I'm usually a martial character. Sometimes I'll play something with 1/2 or 2/3 spellcasting, but I get analysis paralysis with spells. Having said that, I'd be willing to play a caster from lvl 1 and learn it. Also I kinda like playing low INT characters... hehe. There's a door? BASH IT WITH MY FOREHEAD! When I wake up from my concussion, the rogue tells me it was unlocked the whole time. It's just fun, what can I say.

Game Preferences I'd really like to learn PF 2e. I've made a few characters but never played in a campaign. But at this point, I'd be willing to play just about anything haha. Not desperate at all...

Newbie Alert! I have yet to get in a newbie solo campaign. But I've got pbp and ttrpg experience and I've been lurking the other newbie campaigns and read what thye've posted (the bit that is public anyways). Will update this or post new when I gradumicate.

Hi there, lefty! I thought I should mention that the newbie solo game is for true newbies to gaming and PbP. It is by no means a requirement for you to go through the canned level 1 adventure before doing other things. You may not even want to participate in the NPSG, from what you've written here. You clearly have both gaming and play by post knowledge, Discord or otherwise.

About the only thing you didn't list is BBcode, the forum coding that is a shortened list of HTML tags using square brackets instead. Most of the major ones have buttons above the input field, so I doubt you'll have trouble!

...this is by no means a request to leave the NPSGs if you are interested in it still, but you appear to be someone who has surpassed the limited scope of the NPSG.

I appreciate the feedback, Aether. I'm still going to run through the paces in the NPSG just to make sure I'm following protocol, common practice, not developing bad habits that are technically permitted but also rub people the wrong way, etc. Plus it'll be fun to limit a character to the core rulebook (you should see my spreadsheet with tabs upon tabs of mythic gestalt theorycrafted OP characters with no backstory that I'll never ever play hahaha).
