Nobody needs to see a video of me struggling my way through a series of basic fills, not even you. I've spent something like six hours this weekend working on just the one two bars, over and over and over, and I'm fairly surprised my neighbours haven't murdered me to actual death yet.

But now that we're on the subject of instruments! psuedenim, what sort of guitar do/did you play? Do you think you'll ever take it back up, or is skiing more important now that you live in the mountains?

Your sandwich sounds interesting. I've never thought of combining mayo and branston before and I am eager to give it a try!

Oh I bought a cheap dreadnought. At the time my young son wanted to join a rock band when he grew up, then the lessons started and thats when it all fell apart - practice - for 10 MINUTES! - ABSURD.

I carried on self learning but life and moves (job/home) affected my free time and it fell to the wayside.

By the way I have never tried mayo and Branston. Branston and Cheese = good. Tuna and Mayo = good. Anything else is your own personal risk!!!!

Foods I miss:

• Proper sausages
• All the cheeses (they are so expensive here you are forced to the generic melty orange cheese which is light on flavour)
• Black beer (but this hard to find in the UK too)
• Black Pudding
• Mushy peas (but can be found in tins in import sections of stores)
• Proper chips (none of this fries nonsense)
• Pita bread (the ones you can make pockets out of)
• Duck and Pancakes (apparently this is 2 dishes the brits turned into one)
• Scampi flavoured crisps as well as Prawn cocktail
